Whirling Delusions (V/A Omomuki - Milega Records)

This was recorded at a private warehouse party in Rotterdam in 2021. 
A set specially made for Kyborg and I tried to combine a Darkpsy atmosphere with Tekno sounds & vibe. 

Throughout the set the bpm stays quite low as this was requested. The set features some exceptionally powerfull Darkpsy tracks and various 'Psychedelic Tekno' type sounds, and at the end expect some not-so-serious closing tracks.

Darkpsy-Tekno Vibes/Dj-set @ Kyborg Bday ’21 [165-190]

Angels with large white wings wander in the dense darkness of space in search of love.
With their truth, they want to send a message of light and trust to all humanity!
The key to acceptance in their possession will be able to open the door to enclose the weak and imperfect parts of the universe;
welcoming them, loving them to transmute them.

I like to think about what the effect of listening can be on a physical, emotional, imaginative and even spiritual level.
It seems clear that, in certain cases, sound can generate a temporary space in which things happen.
Here space is transformed into ritual, probing the most peripheral areas of collective consciousness, evoking spirits made of sound waves and vibratory entities.

Nepeta Cataria is a plant that cats are attracted to it. The pleasant effect of it and its harmlessness renders it to an ideal tool to enrich the environment of this feline creatures. They seem to have visual and acoustic hallucinations, at all times with extreme pleasure. As the effect vanishes, cats start a cleaning session around it. In part, the sensitivity to this plant is inherited genetically and depends on a dominant autosomal gene.

IDIOBLAST a.k.a. Mats Weel, born in 1989, had his first experience with fast psychedelic music in 2011. Instantly intrigued by how the high BPM music affected his state of mind, he started collecting music fanatically. After graduating Academy of Fine Arts in 2012 he spend numerous years experimenting with different art forms. It was not until early 2017 that he discovered his true passion behind the decks. Because of his education he has a conceptual approach to his sets and a focus on thematic track selection. He aims to deliver polished and energetic sets, and tries to find a balance between variety and coherency.
