Forests are the first temples of divinity, and from them men have grasped the first idea of architecture. The sacred place of visionaries and ancient souls are the roots. Dark tree trunks, shadows, overhanging across the path, barely visible black trails snaking through the undergrowth. Were it not for the bright moon and the ancient souls in their nocturnal ritual, he would have lost his way somewhere over the jungle.

After some years of collecting music I see one thing returning in Hitech: the use of samples from guitar music. Some people may feel that these samples should be left alone, well remember the words of William Faulkner: 'Kill your darlings'. 
We should not be afraid to make drastic changes to that which we hold dear.
Under this motto I've compiled 23 tracks that fit this style of Hitech.

IDIOBLAST a.k.a. Mats Weel, born in 1989, had his first experience with fast psychedelic music in 2011. Instantly intrigued by how the high BPM music affected his state of mind, he started collecting music fanatically. After graduating Academy of Fine Arts in 2012 he spend numerous years experimenting with different art forms. It was not until early 2017 that he discovered his true passion behind the decks. Because of his education he has a conceptual approach to his sets and a focus on thematic track selection. He aims to deliver polished and energetic sets, and tries to find a balance between variety and coherency. 

Founded Amsterdam Blast Events in 2019.
