100% - Abandon

This is my brand new single 'All I Need' set to release on the 27th of May. The song started off as a jam I had with EKA (Ebenezer Koya) in his DIY studio in Sheildfield. I then introduced it to the band(the KBB) who instantly vibed with it as well as Andy Bell from Blast Recording. This song has really brought us together as musicians and friends, with many late nights in the studio creating. This song is the start of a further project I have coming up called 'Divide and Rule' which touches on more political subjects such as misogyny, violence, and mental health.  
All I Need is heavily influenced by funk and hip hop as I had been listening to a lot of female rappers at the time. It is a song about falling in love and being scared of the vulnerability that comes with that feeling.

This song is about letting go of an abusive relationship. There’s a lot of fear and doubt that comes with separating yourself from somebody who manipulates you, and it leaves behind feelings of anger, as well as guilt and doubt. You end up questioning everything while simultaneously harbouring a lot of resentment for the person who treated you that way. We wanted this song to feel cathartic and unapologetic—it ultimately feels very healing.
