Next up on Kaluki this summer, we are welcoming another label newcomer, this time in the form of Ecuadorian DJ and producer, Jose Apolo, who makes his debut on the imprint with his brand new, Enamorado EP. Since kickstarting his DJ career in 2020 with his first release on Detlefs Issues label, Jose has gone on to draw support from the Tech House community with his tracks being supported by a number of respected DJs within the scene. The dancefloor focused Enamorado EP entices listeners with its percolating rhythms, rise and fall acid inspired basslines, trippy synths, hip swinging claps and cleverly chopped vocals throughout. The Mekanism & II Faces - Café Con Leche

Argentinian newcomer Obeid makes his Tamango Records debut as he serves up four original tunes wrapped on the entitled 'For Real' EP.

The main track is a vibrant energy-fuelled production harnessing heavy drums, driving low-ends, broad hats, and subtle bongo tricks. 'For Real' really fits right at home on Tamango. Next up, 'Freaky Me' brings plenty of energy to showcase a production built for peak-time moments thanks to its catchy vocals, bouncy bassline, and shuffling grooves.

The third track, 'Back To The Ground', brings more B-side feels with its rolling, minimal groove, warping bass licks, fluttering synths, and late hours, echoing atmospheres. Closing the EP is a snaking cut packed full of swing, as 'Replying' brings a bubbly, fast-paced groove that carries ricocheting little acid hits and stompy kickdrums to unveil a production perfect both for the main room and the afters.
