Colin Patrick Harper hails from the Bermuda Islands. In the music industry, he is known as the reggae artist Collie Buddz. Buddz was born on August 21, 1984 in New Orleans, Louisiana. After graduating from high school, he attended Full Sail University in Orlando, FL, where he decided to study studio engineering.  Upon graduating from college in 2006, Buddz began looking for work in the recording industry as a performer or producer. One of his first major gigs was working with recording star Shaggy on the single "Mad Mad World" from Shaggy's new album entitled Intoxication, which was release in 2007. That was the same year he released his self-titled debut album with Sony Music. The album was a moderate success, but well-received by critics.  WWE (World Wrestling Enterprises) fans would immediately recognize Buddz's voice from the entrance theme ("SOS") for WWE superstar wrestler Kofi Kingston, which was included on the 2008 compilation WWE The Music, Vol. 8. Over the next year, he would continue making guest appearances on the works of other artists.  It is no small coincidence that his stage name "Buddz" is slang for marijuana. There have been photographs taken of the artist holding bongs and other pot-smoking paraphernalia over the years. Of course, other reggae artist such as Bob Marley have made weed seem an essential part of the reggae lifestyle.  At the end of the decade, Buddz started his own record label called Harper Digital. When not working in the studio, he found himself selling out venue after venue on one of his many exhaustive tours. In 2011, he would finally release his second album entitled Playback. As was the case with the first album, this album was a modest success commercially, but the critics loved his work.  With a couple of albums and a good reputation under his belt, Buddz is a frequent performer at many of the major reggae festivals around the world.

Belgian DJ, started to play in 1980's in Belgium, I was involved in several remix in studio, and re-mastering of hits for radio, clubs, etc. Mixed in the majors Clubs in Brussels, London, Spain from 1983 to 1992, only on Technics SL1200 MKII.  My main inspiration is Hip Hop, Funk, R&B, Dance and since 10 years House music.

Then I stopped for professional reasons, and I still make remixes at home for pleasures and friends, projects, etc.  in 2005, I restarted to mix, and remix with my personal studio.  +30 years of strong musical knowledge in all styles, I don't think to win money with this, but to share my ideas, and projects with other musics lovers.

"Call It Techno" was the blueprint track which was written on June 4, 1989.  It was at the forefront of European Rave Culture and became a well known track in the U.K. & Germany.  The documentary "We Call It Techno" explains it right from the beginning and from that came the second & third Love Parade themes being named "The Future Is Ours" off the XL/Citibeat LP by Musto & Bones.  And "My House Is Your House" from the Break Boys which was Frankie Bones aka on Fourth Floor Records in 1990.

Frankie became the American Pioneer of Rave Culture on both coasts in 1990, playing Techno as a movement.  The Peace, Love, Unity Movement which in 1993 became PLUR after a fight broke out at an event in The Bronx which had Richie Hawtin as it's headliner.

Cape Town-based trio, Matthew Field (vocals and guitar), Robin Brink (drums) and Ross Dorkin (bass) deliver a unique  sound that effortlessly owns mainstream South African pop. Moved by poetry and art, Matthew took inspiration from a sketch of the Swiss town of  Beatenberg, in a book of lectures by expressionist Paul Klee. Classically trained and locally inspired, they formed in 2008 with the express desire to introduce us all to something new.

On the release of their debut, The Hanging Gardens of Beatenberg in 2014 the album became a showcase for the possibilities of pop music, exploring Kwaito, House and Mbaqanga. Beatenberg has broken radio chart records and won numerous awards as a result, including a sweep of the South African Music Awards including Album of the Year, Duo or Group of the Year, Newcomer of the Year, Best Pop Album and four awards for the riveting single “Pluto (Remember You)”.

Now joining Island Records in the Spring of their international musical journey, they're set to release 12 Views of Beatenberg at the close of 2018. There’s every reason to believe that Field, Dorkin and Brink will be South Africa’s first global pop success – and that they will do this on the back of a sound that is rooted in their home country’s indigenous styles, unfailingly moving forward to the future.

Jordi Ruz has specialized in the classy and sexy sounds of House. Electronic music for people who don't like electronic music. He has been the resident DJ of Beso Beach for 6 summers and already has played in more than 40 countries. The last 5 years in a row he has been playing for the official Tomorrowland events and at the festival in Boom, Belgium. Find him in his weekly residences in Marbella, Spain.
