This wonderful song by @matthias_am_klavier is a trip through landscapes and inner realms, a topic that has always fascinated him. Thanks a lot to Matthias for asking me to record the trumpet part and Adam Tucker for doing the mastering.

The sounds of nature, ethnic, classical and meditative music are among the arts that evoke the strongest response in the human soul.
The vibration of sounds creates energy fields that make every cell of our body resonate.
Almost everything that happens in nature is connected with the world of sounds. It can be considered proven that music affects people, animals, and plants.
Even in ancient times, people used listening to music to improve their emotional state.
Music also evokes elevated emotions: for example, solemn or joyful compositions help to feel happier. It can also evoke visual images. (patterns fractals and so on).
Music… This is not only a language that everyone understands, but also an interesting way to convey information.
A person, as a part of the Universe, begins to harmonize with everything that exists, as an inseparable part of it, when he is at the Divine frequency - the frequency of Love.

Découvrez ma dernière création musicale intitulée "Shiva". Pour cette musique, j'ai exploré les sonorités shamaniques en y ajoutant la voix envoûtante de Donia. 
C'est un projet différent de ce que j'ai l'habitude de faire, mais j'ai pris énormément de plaisir à travailler sur cette musique et j'espère que vous apprécierez le résultat. Cette musique est le fruit d'une exploration sonore qui m'a permis de créer une ambiance mystique et spirituelle. N'hésitez pas à écouter cette musique en pleine immersion, en fermant les yeux et en laissant les sonorités vous emporter dans un voyage sonore unique. 
Je suis très fier de partager ce projet avec vous et j'espère que ce ne sera pas le dernier du genre.

Shiva - Mythmaker and Donia Anis

Sarah's Tears (Tears of the Dune)" est une composition de musique du monde captivante qui traite de la sécheresse et du manque d'eau dans les déserts, mettant en valeur la voix de Donia Anis sous la forme d'un murmure. Cette œuvre musicale mêle habilement des instruments traditionnels et le saxophone, créant une ambiance envoûtante et émotionnelle.

Dès les premières notes, la musique nous transporte dans un paysage désertique où le sable et le vent dominent. Les rythmes des percussions traditionnelles se mêlent aux mélodies enchanteresses du saxophone, évoquant les dunes de sable mouvantes et les rares oasis qui ponctuent ces étendues arides. Les mélodies sont à la fois mélancoliques et fascinantes, reflétant la beauté austère de ces régions.

La voix de Donia Anis, bien que ne prononçant pas de paroles distinctes, apporte une dimension profondément émotionnelle à la pièce. Son murmure doux et évocateur contraste avec la sécheresse du désert, faisant écho à la souffrance et à la tristesse ressenties par ceux qui sont confrontés à la pénurie d'eau. Electric Lullaby

Igor Iofe is a
composer whose musical
paths lead to diverse stylistic destinations. Currently Igor's focus in music is Armenian traditional duduk repertoire which he performs on trumpet. He brings the beauty and warmth of the duduk into his trumpet playing.

At the Conservatorium van Amsterdam he studied with  Wim Hendrickx,Richard Ayres,  Fabio Nieder,Willem Jeths and Jorrit Tamminga. Igor attended masterclasses with Misato Mochizuki, Dmitry Kourliandski, Tristan Murail andTan Dun. His music was performed at the Composers’ Festival Amsterdam (2012 and 2013), Atlas Academy (2010-12),  Looptail XXX and at such venues as De Link, De Duif, Het Bethaniënklooster, Het Veem, STEIM, Muziekgebouw aan 't Ij and CvA in Amsterdam and other cities of the Netherlands. His piece Y+Ywas performed by the Joint Venture Percussion Duo at several venues in the USA and Europe.

Parallel to his Classical Composition studies Igor studied Composing Music for Film with Jurre Haanstra and graduated as a Master in Composing for FIlm at the CvA. During his studies he wrote music for several movies which were shown at the Beeldbuis Filmfestival, Keep an Eye Film Festival, VERS Awards, Cinekid Filmfestival, M2M Filmfestival and Pleinbioscoop Rotterdam.
