F.O.O.L - Bounty Hunter

Revolving around a percussive pattern and bass riff created by the Ploytec Pi Lambda squared (PL2) synthesizer, this track is an exercise in blending early nineties computer sounds, modular synthesis and stuttering beats into an overall sci-fi feel.

Scutterblotch appears on Drosophelia's "Pupa" EP, released in October 2018.

So around a year ago I made a little track called ghost light. It ended up being my most popular track by far, and as such it holds a special place in my heart. Since it's nearing a year old now, I figured i'd do something special for its 1 year anniversary!

Happy, energetic, quirky and fun, this confection was produced by Paul David with the incomparable Dr. Fink of Prince and the Revolution.  Styled after the B-52's meets the Teddybears, this track is a natural for any summer adventure or party.  Listen to the vast array of cool sound and samples mixed in with live instruments This is technology mixed with a band!

I am a HUGE Prince geek from way back in the day.  The chance to work with Matt Fink was a bucket list for sure!  After my initial 16-year-old girlish glee wore off, it was truly one of my best musical experiences.  He is a monster player, kind, supportive, collaborative and a lot of fun to hang with.

I mainly write and release music under the name Drosophelia but am open to add input on any kind of project requiring sound. My compositions usually blend acoustic and electronic instruments ranging from the traditional to more esoteric gizmos, using hand written software processors and algorithms which are freely available through my website.
