This is an ambient piece, featuring delay and lots of reverb. It was probably influenced by a late-night B movie (whose name I am unable to recall) which featured people running through a booby-trapped forest at night (hence the irregular percussion).

This mix (with different mastering) features on Ambient Online Compilation: Volume 20, which contains over 5 hours of excellent ambient music, and is available from BandCamp at a price of your choosing, which represents excellent value in these days of hyper-inflation.

Edit:20221030 - I remixed it, dropping the level of the theremin-like synth by 2dB and mastered using the earlier project settings. The remix was done in a new version of MuLab.

first track I've uploaded in close to 3 years. I'm mainly doing instrumental stuff under I'm like the blue rose these days but a new nodding off album (+ some shows) will be coming after the next 2 ILTBR albums (I already made most the beats for the next N.O. album) this track will be on it+ another 2 collabs tbd & 7 solo tracks. 
Hope you enjoy, this is my favorite nodding off beat I've rapped on so far & am happy to have made it with a bunch of homies. I also think this beat gives you a sense of the direction nodding off is going from the past worx to the future trax.

A track I originally made in Summer 2020 with North American writer Francisco Cantú.  For the re-recording of this track I kept the lockdown themed Spoken word by Francisco but created a whole new backing music, much more stripped down then the old verion.
Very pleased with how this sounds.
