HydeFM is a community-based multi-genre online radio station broadcasting out of San Francisco, CA. HydeFM curates an eclectic sound consisting of all music genres. Although the station is centered around underground music, HydeFM showcases many art forms, including art, photography, poetry, and visuals. The station also hosts a multitude of events in collaboration with different venues throughout San Francisco and beyond. Part of the dance-music culture for the past 24 years. Studying new media production, sound designing, engineering and working in the SF club industry. Vega has honed his craft of sculpting the sounds of House, Deep House, Techno and Disco, keeping it funky.
Moving to San Francisco Vega has enjoyed the honor of playing along- side artists such as The Juan McLain, Lee Curtis, Daniel Bell, Francis Harris, Theo Parrish, Marc Houle & Dj Hyperactive.
Vega has worked for the last 10 years with the Housepitality SF Crew as Res & Flr Manager.
Vega focuses further on his side project event PROX.IMITY SF held at Underground SF while also focusing on music production, utilizing more hardware and continuing his quest for excellence in music for the ever-demanding public but hasn’t lost sight of the point in all this which is to bring people together to share common interests and participate in the evolu- tion of theculture and most important- ly, shake thy butt.
