Born in Brooklyn & calling Queens home, Daze emerged on the scene like many, with scars both visible and not, yet unlike most, has transcended his struggles into a force of an expressive nature that instills hope & earns him respect. 

Most notably, Daze, aka “The Bowlegged Bandit” is physically disabled & severely bowlegged to the point of having to once use two Lofstrand crutches as a kid & at his heaviest, weighing a devastating 500 lbs. He's a "walking" example of what strong will power, an unbreakable spirit, & hard work will accomplish!  

If you mistake his humor for softness, you obviously haven’t seen him in the ring battle rapping! His down to earth nature is set aside & in beast-mode, this prolific battler unleashes his hell of a life of struggle through poignant rhymes & heated delivery unparalleled. His intimidating size & presence is a constant reminder of his drive & passion for not only survival, but for living.  

To call Daze a “performer” would be a compliment to the word. He's a fusion of everything intense & raw combined with a rugged charm & fierce coolness. In one line, he can warn you not to mess around with him & in the next, he’ll show you why you can’t. 

Daze has won competitions on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Anthony Anderson's Mixtape Comedy Show, Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival, King of the Dot, GrindTimeNow, EOW, & has been featured in The Source Magazine, AllHipHop.com, Vibe, VladTV, Boi1da, DJ Booth, KevinNottingham & more. He has an extensive writing background and has worked with numerous high-profile businesses and celebrity clients performing at private parties, commercial events and creating powerful marketing and advertising campaigns.  

Daze's disability should have made him steer far from Battle Rap, but instead, he "jumped" into the scene & managed to make a name off it, winning not based off commodity, but off legit rhyme & reason! 

Daze can’t be summed or described in one word. He is a rare breed in Hip Hop today, one that puts his true self in every line, every beat, & every adlib of every song. Wick-it the Instigator is a multi-genre DJ and producer known as a breath of fresh air in an otherwise over-crowded EDM scene. He merges the likes of mashups, hip-hop and electronic to bring together a unique sound that you are bound to enjoy. In the last few years Wick-it has had the opportunity to play festivals like Summer Camp, Wakarusa, Camp Bisco, Imagine, Backwoods, Shambala and more. His SoundCloud page alone has garnered over 70K+ followers and over 30M+ plays. Impressive numbers like these helped land him on Billboard’s Next Big Sound chart. This isn’t just a testament to his top-notch production skills, but also his keen ability to build and harness a highly interactive online fan base.

In 2012, Microsoft recognized that direct audience connection and chose Wick-it to produce a song for their Windows 8/Angry Birds: Star Wars commercial that they blasted to millions of prime-time viewers. Even before that in 2010, Big Boi of Outkast picked up his mashup project ‘The Brothers Of Chico Dusty’ which helped projectile his popularity. To add even more fuel to the fire, in 2015 Sia picked Wick-it’s remix to be her official remix for ‘Elastic Heart’. Since then he has done official remixes for the likes of Kesha, ZZ Ward, KC & The Sunshine Band and Figure.

With successful headline tours supplemented by huge sets playing with Skrillex, Pretty Lights, GRiZ, Herobust and others, it’s obvious his talent and success extend far beyond the studio.
