An Alt-Indie Rock band originally formed at random through the Redlands Mystery Band Project.  Original music, a couple well chosen covers, local gigs, and a whole lot of banter.

SYMYTRY is the expression of a young individual through Music, Visual Arts, Photography and Creative Writing.

Galen honed the craft of djing by playing vinyl at renegade and warehouse parties and at his own legendary Sunset Sound System park and boat parties where he was able to explore many sides of dance music from deep acid house and techno to disco and reggae. He is known for his technical mastery of creating complex grooves on the fly through his assertive mixing techniques that are inspired by each unique dance floor. His discerning taste for music helps him carve out unique rhythm and bass sounds that are distinctly his own. His refined attention to detailed musical nuances enables him to create long blends just as easily and smoothly as quick transitions, each suited to the time and atmosphere on hand. This precise listening has also translated into his studio productions, with recent songs out now on What To Do & Culprit Records. You can find him touring Europe in the summer as well as various parties around the US, Canada, and Mexico when he is not holding it down in San Francisco.

My Machete is Jessica Escobedo, Jorge Chavira, Chris Dominguez and Derek Escobedo. They are an indie/alternative rock band from Anaheim, CA that formed in 2003.
They released their first demo in 2006 and have since released two EPs, Minor Thoughts (2011) and Opposite Ends (2014). The band has a strong local following and has had success touring the Pacific Coast twice, from San Diego and Los Angeles, to San Francisco, Portland and Seattle.
My Machete plays a unique blend of alternative rock with indie pop overtones. The combination of soft, yet dynamic vocals, complimented by distinctive drumming and melodic guitar riffs, has made the group a staple in the Orange County music scene.  
The band will release their first full-length album, Better Together, on February 23rd.

With a love for the old-school, we fuse a sound that's 60's garage/psych and modern surf/indie while throwing in a hint of this and that on different occasions.
