Since I was a kid back in the former Soviet Union, I was fascinated with the sound, from animal noises to bus, plane and train noises to the Euro disco music finding its way around the Iron curtain. However, only right around the pandemic, in my 40s, I decided  to share my love of music with others and watch them dance or enjoy themselves while relaxing. At the same time, I love to explore the cutting edges of musical expression to see what is possible to do with the sound. As a result, my musical taste is constantly evolving and could be considered eclectic, from techno to house to folktronica and jazz to name a few.  

Once upon a time in the far Northwestern part of Russia, a cosmic spiritual essence incarnated in a human form known as Xipil. 
At an early age, he fell in love with electronic sounds which later progressed into a passion for techno music. 
Subsequently, his life’s path led him to the U.S., where he was introduced to the psytrance which immediately made him addicted to constantly exploring this magical music. 
He moved to California  and started  playing dark psy at parties and festivals and soon  was recognized by Red Marines production and Shaman Electro Records for the musical range and style of his dj sets. 
The spectrum of his music passion could be described as a sonic code of alien lifeforms that tune you to a higher state of consciousness and take on a cosmic psychedelic journey.

Vixen Sound is a Scottish dub, reggae and dancehall selector.

Having shared stages with the likes of Iration Steppas, Manudigital, Dubkasm, and David Rodigan, Vixen has played across the world from India to New York at events such as Dubquake, Rototom, Fusion Festival, Goa Sunsplash, Boomtown, Glastonbury, International Dub Gathering, & many more beyond. 

Cutting her teeth in dub by working closely with Mungo's Hi Fi on the running of their record label (Scotch Bonnet Records) and world-renowned club night (Walk n Skank), Vixen now operates her own soundsystem, titled Iron Aye Hifi. Vixen Sound is also part of the Sinai Sound System family. 
Currently a resident on Glasgow's Clyde Built Radio, Vixen has previously hosted shows on LVLZ Radio, Pulse 98.4 FM & Subcity Radio, and presents a genre-fluid, new-music show on BBC Radio Scotland, each Friday night.
