A Day in the Life - is the first chapter of a dedicated series fully curated by Steve Bicknell for KR3. 

This bold new work by the veteran English artist provides an insight into the mind of the artist. 

Side A features three tracks by The Evader, another face of Steve Bicknell. An obscure intro leads us straight to the point: 4/4 sounds, repetitive and hypnotic, not afraid to be heavy. In fact, that's the point: to take everything that is a burden to us and embrace it. After all, there can be no light without darkness. 

On Side B, Steve Bicknell has a killer approach. A parallel rail to Side A, with a more furious, still gloomy approach. He moves in the same direction but vents different emotions. The sound is harder, rawer, faster and more impetuous. 
An outro ends the EP, as if to represent a circle closing: The first lap inside A day in the life.

The vastness of the Universe, the human soul and the dissolution of time are interconnected subjects and topics of countless fables and myths, all derived from human fascination with the infinite abyss of the cosmos and the unknown. Electronic music is a tool with which we enhance these imaginary landscapes and it thrives in the prurient and inquisitive mind. Nørbak’s “Flor do Fatalismo” is designed as a transposition of a deep human feeling into music: the longing. A paradox between the void and our necessity to belong. Each track in this body of work happens in a hypothetical scenery and stands on its own as if questioning our coherence, spirituality and the sovereignty of the human mind. Penetrating, spell-binding, unrestrained but eventually earthly and familiar, the abstract character of Artur’s music invites ingenuity and artistry from both the performers and the crowd.

Being an avid record collector and enthusiast of Techno and House - his DJ sets and tracks combine the raw, dark and deep elements of these musical forms with a firm nod in the direction of Detroit. With releases on Sino punching him onto the international scene it was no surprise he would land further releases on labels like knotweed and Freddy K’s Key Vinyl.

Pioneering Kosovan techno artist Vegim's most recent label, Alhena, has included up-and-coming artists like DSNGDMANN, Lorenzo Fasano, and KNTZ.

Nicko Shuo is making all the right moves releasing on Vegim's main label TMMR, as well as Dani Sbert's imprint, Ket Robinson's KR Records, Luca Maniaci's Mind Games, Paula Cazenave's Combine Audio, Dosis and Death Bell, amongst others.

For this DT:Premiere we selected "Don't You Dare Mock Me" that has a commanding presence straight off. Cyclical modular textures of electric-like thunder present a certain doom and dystopian soundscape, as it blends a gritty club-focused sound with thought-provoking contemporary sound design.

We are very excited to present to you the 47th installment of the series, bringing your speakers an hour of percussive power with deep-delving techno grooves, intertwined with crisp break-beat rhythms from Kashpitzky.

Kashpitzky, has dedicated the past three years to define his own unique sound as an electronic music producer and DJ. It took him less than one year of activity in the nightlife scene of his hometown to get a permanent residency at one of the most quoted clubs “Bootleg” Club.

Guy was born in Tel-Aviv (Israel) and from an early age was etching out his musical path as a guitar player in a metal-core band. Kashpitzky was one of the founders of “V-DOOY” - illegal raves in the heart of Tel-Aviv during the years 2016-2018 and off-course a resident DJ at those parties.

With releases on reputable labels such as Be As One imprint, his energetic, deep yet groovy productions, are one of the main keys of his unique definition of techno and electronic music in general.

As usual, turn up the volume and enjoy the chaos!
