Drawing influence from progressive house, progressive trance, and dub techno, yet pushing their boundaries in a quest for new, original sounds, Eartha Harris reveals a new side of herself as a lover of dance music and global DJ culture. Her first release under this project, Soft Apocalypse, explores the intersection between extremes, where beauty and tranquility converge with the spirited and often mysterious sides of creative exploration. Built from three sharp and technical tracks, the collection rises and falls between lush atmospheric sequences set within a progressive mid-tempo framework, offering a stirring juxtaposition of styles inspired by Harris’s extensive touring history and her collaborative work with artists across the globe.

Illementree is the sonic manipulating handle of Daniel Boulos. Picking up the cello when he was five years old, Daniel started his life long endeavor of creating musical vibrations to push through the cosmos. Over the past three years, he has been releasing his warm psychedelic basslines and enchanting melodies under the alias illementree, but has recently started a new project; www.soundcloud.com/wattsun. Since his move to Calgary in 2012, he has joined a small group of inspiring individuals who organize an array of conscious community based events ranging from Ecstatic Dance Workshops to Music Festivals. Finding an interest in the connection between music and dance, he has been focusing a lot of his energy exploring as an Ecstatic Dance DJ. Over the past several years, Daniel has opened for such acts as Quanta, Kaminanda, Whitebear, Adham Shaikh, AtYya, Stickybuds, Random Rab, Hedflux, Grouch; and has shared the stage with many talented musicians at Motion Notion, Astral Harvest and Inshala Festival.
