Life Goes On (Ed Sheeran)

Lucanus is a delightful performer with vast creativity and potential to be recognized as one of the best songwriters in the area. He dreams of entertaining thousands in arenas with a big band orchestra playing his very original music. Pell currently performs for Kingston Health Sciences music therapy program and recently made several appearances acting in the Paramount series Mayor of Kingstown.

My new track ‘Poison Waterfalls’. A dreamy folk track that I made myself with my acoustic guitar, an 80s keyboard and a drum track from online. If you have been following my releases lately, you may have noticed that my productions have been a lot softer. This hasn’t been a conscious decision; I have just noticed it recently and I think it’s interesting how creativity evolves over time. I think I am just a bit more confident in my melody writing and don’t feel the need to hide it under more intricate production. This song is particularly soft in its soundscape (aside from the drums in the final chorus). I wanted a nostalgic feel and theme with the track which I hopefully achieved. I also made a video for the track featuring vintage home footage which definitely adds to the themes so give that a watch too! It’s on my YouTube channel (Rosa Lavenne). Let me know what you think!

Tom used the '50s progression (also known as the "Heart and Soul" chords, the "Stand by Me" changes, the doo-wop progression) is a chord progression and turnaround used in Western popular music. The progression, represented in Roman numeral analysis is: I–vi–IV–V. For example, in C major: C–Am–F–G. As the name implies, it was common in the 1950s and early 1960s and is particularly associated with doo-wop. The first popular song to use the progression was Blue Moon, written in 1934. This inspired Heart and Soul in 1938 and Blueberry Hill in 1940.
