Hello everyone, and welcome onboard the PFG Progcast, your weekly 1st Class trip around the world of Progressive Beats....

...and BREAKS! Today our journey goes transatlantic as we head into the US, and a Florida based DJ whose focus is all about those broken drums! Continually forging ahead with his unique sound, and with 25 years experience in the game, PFG Give it up.... for Joe Wink! 

As a child his father owned the counties only Vinyl & Cassette store, therefore Joe grew up immersed in music. He was fortunate enough to be in the right place at the right time, and that place was Orlando, FL 1992.

His experiences during this time with electronic music and the nightclubs lead way to over 25 years of dedication to the genre of breaks and in particular 'Progressive Breaks'. Inspired by Hybrid, Lostep, Way Out West and Sasha early on helped sculpt his musical taste to involve deep, intelligent and often emotional tunes. 

For the last 7 years his show 'Broken Essence'  has been syndicated internationally on several major stations, and recruits guest mixes from the leading producers and DJs in the genre.  He is a resident DJ on Subcode, the station that airs Broken Essence,  as well as running the 'Progressive Breaks' group on Facebook as a resource to find, share and discuss the genre's best music. Uberzone aka Timothy Wiles is an American born DJ/Producer who has been an avid producer of electronic music since the mid 1990's where he spent some time playing in the early rave scene. He released his first album "Ideology" in 2007 to fantastic reviews and toured extensively with such acts as The Crystal Method. This mix was recorded for Groove Radio back in 2007 and features tracks from his Ideology album.
