This week the Podcast has landed in Australia, one of our favourite destinations on the tour. Having already plundered her ranks for the best DJ talent she has, PFG return for more, eager to bring you some of the same from this hotbed of house music. Eric Lune is a Melbourne based producer with a passion for emotive dance music. In the short space of 3 years, he has amassed an impressive string of releases on prestigious labels such as Guy Mantzur’s Plattenbank, Sound Avenue & Proton. 

Eric’s ability to write killer dance floor tracks is showcased in 'Benji'. Released in 2018 on 3rd Avenue, this saw his name explode into the scene in 2018.

But it was 2019's ‘Embers’ (Sound Avenue) that took him to new heights. With constant airplay from industry elites such as Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and Eelke Kleijn, it was touted as one of the biggest Progressive House tracks of that year. It also found its way onto the labels best of the year showcase album, high praise indeed!

With more music and remixes planned and on the way for 2022, and being signed to Australia's premier booking agency there’s little doubt Eric has cemented his place in a new emerging era of Progressive House producers and DJs, not only in his own country, but around the world! Enjoy The Mix!

PFG The Progcast - Episode 103 - Eric Lune

The Gabe Concept is an Argentinean producer and DJ shaping a rhythm-driven blend of Afro House, Progressive, and Melodic Techno. Focus on clean low-end, controlled tension, and functional arrangements built for real dancefloors—outdoor settings, long-format sets, and peak-hour rooms. A project defined by precision and restraint: modern electronic music engineered with intention rather than excess.

Marçal Prats is a newcomer Dj and producer. Originally from Barcelona, he is based in London following his endless aim for achieving new creative challenges. In addition to his productions and mixes, he is an established graphic designer.

On 14th July 2023, Marçal releases on Sutil Records (@sutilrecords-sutilvox) his latest production, 'Fascinated' paying homage to the iconic 1987 freestyle disco hit by 'Company B', Marçal has infused "Fascinated" with a modern twist, delivering a captivating dance anthem that will transport you to the golden era of dance music. Ten years before, in 2002, Marçal Prats released in Barcelona his first Tech-house remix for London singer and actress Linda John-Pierre's song 'Night People'. 

Marçal started his interest in electronic music in the 80s, fascinated by High-Energy, Italo-Dance, and its hypnotic arpeggiated baselines. He was soon seduced by the birth of House Music and the crunchy 303 analogue sounds of Acid-House. In the mid-90s, during his first visit to London, he was again seduced by Drum&Bass, Big Beat, and IDM.  In 1995, he won his first remix contest. In the first half of the 2000s, Deep Progressive House became his favourite electronic choice. Marçal continues combining his role as a designer with his devotion to music. As he works on new productions, he has released a series of DJ mixes where he brings together the tracks that have influenced him since the turn of the century.
