Leading the line of new wave DJs, we hit up a name with the class thats making him shine amongst a sea of stars. Il Modo make some noise for the brilliant Erit Lux

Erit Lux is a ground-breaking Deep, Organic & Progressive House DJ based out of Hyderabad, India. Resident DJ/Artist at Saturo Sounds, with an ear for what sounds good, Erit takes inspiration from a wide variety of musical genres, sampling everything from within the scene.

His radio show "Lux Cast" features DJs and artists from around the world specialising in Organic & Deep house vibes. So far the show has hosted big names Ilias Katelanos, Greg Ochman, Tristan Case, DJ Joma aka Lenz, Jakhira, Bjorn Salvador, Mass Digital, Weird Sounding Dude,  Teleport- X, 8Souls, Tim Gray, Flo Reen, Niko Garcia and Hausman among many others.

The Progcast - Episode 181 - Erit Lux

Underground Colombo (UC) was envisioned by Kushan Dissanayake, and his co-founder, Kasun Dissanayake, who is known as Kais D. This dynamic duo, driven by their shared passion for underground music, embarked on this journey together in 2016.

Inspired by the vibrant energy of Sri Lanka's music scene, they had a vision—to cultivate a close-knit community that immersed itself in the rhythms they cherished. Alongside them was their best friend, Buddika Wijebandara, forming an unbreakable trio.

Their first step was the establishment of a Facebook community, a digital haven for kindred spirits, which rapidly flourished and now boasts a dedicated following of 15,000 strong. But that was only the beginning.

Determined to take their passion to the next level, they decided to launch their own SoundCloud page. This expansion was made possible with the unwavering support of Azmara Veera, a pivotal figure in UC's journey. She, along with the team, contributed creative forces that allowed UC to venture into new territories. 

However, UC isn't solely about music; it's a dynamic, all-encompassing experience. They added a unique visual and editorial flair to UC, making it an aesthetic delight.

Underground Colombo on SoundCloud is more than just a platform; it's a testament to the commitment and dedication of these individuals and the community they've nurtured. The beats, melodies, and sonic landscapes come to life through this collaborative effort.

Born and raised in Ukraine, he began his music career in the early 2000s, performing as DJ and organising showcases in his native country and far beyond its borders.  
Over the weekend he can perform at numerous venues. After opening the evening with soulful & deep house music in restaurants and pre-parties, Newman usually moves to night clubs, playing intensive house & techno rhythms. And when the sun rises up, he can be spotted at various after-parties, delivering massive progressive sound.

In the mid-2010s he moved to Vietnam, where he went on arranging exclusive events and touring throughout Southeast Asia.
Nowadays Newman lives in Spain, continuing to pursue his passion for music and travel.

Technical and spiritual elements of his music vision have been developing over the years.
Giving preferences to various genres, he eventually formed his unique style, where mesmerising depth goes together with strong dynamics, immersing listeners into the atmosphere of surrealism and phantasmagoria, allowing to perceive full interconnection between your body and soul..
