Buenos Dias!!  Yes, hello and welcome to Il Modo's infamous weekly Progcast. Our long running series takes you around Planet Progressive every week, transporting you to another hot dance floor destination and an exclusive DJ mix. 

This week we are back in our favourite haunt, Argentina! Arriving at the home of an up and coming electronic artist who already has a string of top class clubs under his belt, this is LAMPU! 

Ignacio Lampugnani, better known as Lampu, is a DJ and Electronic music Producer, originally from Argentina. Ignacio started his career halfway through 2018, focussing on underground electronica and house music.

In 2022, Ignacio  took on courses in Academia "El Cóndor" where he improved both as a DJ and Music Producer. His sound incorporates deep, spatial melodies and progressive symphonies, whilst his DJ sets take in genres such as Afro House, Progressive house, Deep house and Indie dance,  a potent combination that makes his people dance for hours.

Its always an enormous pleasure to play at Skyline Events and back in February this year I was able to do that once again. This time round I was playing directly before the headline acts of Sebastien Leger, Time Green and Roy Rosenfeld as they went Back to Back to Back. Its still very much winter in February so darker for longer. The vibe in the room was already great from previous super cool sets from Austin, Super Progressive, Dobbo and the meastro's that are Andy and Twilo. I had the opportunity to lift the energy a touch which the mix reflects, the BPM moves from around the 116 to the 118 mark. We kicked off with the cool warm vibes of "Parallel Worlds" courtesy of Stereo Munk, before getting deeper but melodic with “Wrinkle in Time” and then Gai Barone's wonderful remix of “Reverie”.  From here the energy lifts through “Spring Winds” and a sequence of really cool grooves commences as we shift through the gears with “Renacimiento”, the glories “Riviera” and “Aprige” before culminating with the lovely vocal classic “UUUU” from WhoMadeWho, what a moment and then closing out with "Gamma" and "Feel Affection".

Federico Monachesi, DJ and Producer from Argentina began his career as a producer in 2006 and quickly his music received the support of great DJs of the scene such as Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Eelke Kleijn, Nick Muir, Guy Mantzur, among others.
 
In 2009 he started to play as a dj and since then has been playing for different clubs and festivals in his country and some international ones in Denmark, Malta, Italy, Mexico, Pakistan and Brazil. Sharing booth with DJs such as Guy Mantzur, Sebastien Leger, Henry Saiz, Dmitry Molosh, Cid Inc., D-Nox, Jeremy Olander, Alex O,Rion, Denis Horvat, Darin Epsilon, DAVI, Tash, Nick Varon, Marcelo Vasami, Lonya, Jimmy Van M, Denis A, among others.

Welcome to Il Modo's 44th Exclusive Series mix.  This month (April 2025) we are pleased to bring back a previous contributor to our Progcast series ~ Markus Saarlånder. 

Markus Saarländer exemplifies and expands one of the main roles of the DJ: bringing beautiful music to those who love it. He does this not only through his DJ sets, but through his renowned Berlin - Brighton events in Brighton, and most recently with his new label Dino Audio and regular radio shows.

Having played around the UK, Europe, and the beaches of Ibiza, he established a home in Brighton, which led to residencies for Hed Kandi, as well as almost all well-known club venues in the city, boat parties, pop-up events and more.  

Markus is the founder of Berlin-Brighton, a Berlin style underground club night that has been making waves for the last 10 years. With queues down the street and full venues for every party, Berlin has established itself as one Brighton’s most popular underground music events bringing some of the biggest names in electronic music to the city. 

Berlin has enjoyed a successful radio show on Codesouth.FM for the whole of 2016 before moving over to Trickstar Radio in January 2017. In July 2020 the show moved to the popular and much loved station 1BTN. Markus also has a monthly show called Rainbow Frequencies on NYC station Frisky Radio (since 2018), which airs every second Monday of the month at 9pm UK time.

Spending his early DJ years in the North West of England playing Progressive House and House in and around Manchester, Markus extended his portfolio with gigs elsewhere in the UK and Europe, Markus quickly got onto the circuit with a residency for Zoo at Hed Kandi and has now played at every well-known club and bar venue in the city. Markus has been featured in multiple magazines and articles and  numerous guest mixes.

Other highlights have included support at the Arch for Groove Armada, Booka Shade and John 00 Fleming's JOOF Editions shows. In addition, Markus has shared the stage and warmed up for some of the biggest names in the business such as Sasha, John Digweed, Timo Maas, Tiefschwarz, Leftfield, Danny Rampling, Einmusik, Rebekah,Juliet Fox, Dave Seaman, Thomas Schumacher, Emanuel Satie, Jonas Saalbach and many more.

2023 saw the release of Markus’ first release with good friend NOLAN formerly Timo Garcia. The release received the remix treatment from label heads Framewerk who added their own breaks and intro mixes to the EP. The release was featured in John Digweed’s Transition shows amongst many others.

Markus organises and curates a hugely popular guest mix and interview series. As
well as the Events and Radio Shows, Berlin has also collaborated with many artists by delivering a popular Guest Mix Series. The series focuses on letting artists do their thing. 

Artists that Markus has worked with so far include Timo Maas, Thomas
Schumacher, Teenage Mutants, Alex Stein, Dave Seaman, Dilby, Phonique, Transcode, Jonas Saalbach, Beth Lydi, Kellerkind, Daniel Steinberg, Kristin Velvet, AGENT!, Robosonic and many more.

Not only that, in order to showcase local talent he also launched the Brighton
Mixtape Series, which features Brighton artists that are established as well as up and coming.

Dino Audio is Markus's label founded a couple of years ago to add some fun into the music industry by combining great quality music with dinosaurs! The label has had some great releases so far with top support right from the start. Almost all EPs have charted in various Beatport charts and were also featured in many DJ sets from top artists including tracks played at Mixmag the Lab NYC, Burning Man, various other club nights, festivals, guest mixes and radio shows.

Hailing from the North West UK, Ger Zinio has been a staple in the electronic music scene since 1992. Inspired by the high-energy mixing of icons like Carl Cox and Jeremy Healy, Ger began his journey in the early rave and house scenes. By the mid-90s, his style had shifted to darker, more progressive sounds, shaped by influences such as Nick Warren, Anthony Pappa, Sasha, and John Digweed.

In 1999, Ger relocated to Dublin, Ireland, diving into a vibrant club scene. He became a fixture at renowned venues, including the iconic Temple Theatre, Ormonde Dublin, and the GPO in Galway. Today, Ger’s mixes are celebrated across the global progressive house community, with recent features on the Progressive House Classics blog. PROGMATIC MAY 25 - ASHLEY BONSALL & JORDAN COUNSEL

Adam Collins is a Birmingham-born DJ who now calls the North West of England home. He is a dedicated student of the Deep, Progressive, Melodic, and Organic House genres, stemming from a passion for music that dates back to his early years. Adam's musical journey began in 1998 when he first delved into the world of DJing. After a hiatus in 2002, it wasn't until 2014, and relocating to Manchester, that he rediscovered his love for the art again.

Having always been musically inclined, Adam's background as a drummer during secondary school undoubtedly influences his penchant for percussive beats.

After moving to Manchester, Adam immersed himself in the thriving Progressive house scene making appearances at various events hosted by UCAP. However, the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdowns provided him with an opportunity to explore new sonic landscapes. It was during this more relaxed time that he gravitated towards Organic house, an ethereal, globally inspired genre rooted in folk music from around the world. The dreamy instrumentation, balearic vibes, and relaxed percussive elements of organic house captivated Adam, allowing him to craft rich and immersive musical journeys.

In 2023 Adam joined the roster of talented DJs at Organic Deep House Radio—a fledgling station that is rapidly growing its roster and listenership. He now has a home to hone his craft and collaborate with other talented DJs. Adam is excited to contribute to the station's growth and create enchanting musical experiences for the expanding audience.

As his journey as a DJ unfolds, Adam remains committed to sharing his passion with the world. Through his evolving artistic style and dedication to his craft, he strives to create captivating musical experiences that resonate deeply with listeners."

The Exclusive Series ~ Episode 45 ~ Adam Collins

Dia duit gach duine! Yes, greetings from the Emerald Isle, as we welcome you back to our infamous Progcast. Each week, we roam around Planet Progressive on the search for the best and most exclusive DJ sets we can find. 

No travelling is necessary today as we delve into Dublin's rich and extensive clubbing history once more. A fervent supporter of everything we do here, our guest today has done it all and is now back behind the decks garnering more support as he relaunches. Make some noise for Dave Harbourne!

Hailing from Dublins underground scene, Dave is a DJ with decades of experience. 
He bought his first set of decks at just 15, and started playing house parties. He soon became  a regular DJ on Dublin's pirate radio scene that emerged during the  1990s/2000's.

Having grown up immersed in the golden era of '90s  Dublin club culture, Dave developed a deep appreciation for storytelling through music. Whether it’s an organic sunrise set or a late-night slot in a packed venue, Dave brings the same energy to all of his DJ sets. His style has moved towards a more Progressive house sound, but he still finds the time to relive that golden era of the 1990s on a regular basis.

After a 10 year hiatus from the decks, Dave picked up the headphones again in 2020,  and now has a regular slot on Phever radio in Dublin, playing twice monthly on Tuesdays 8-10pm. Dave can be found playing regularly at pop-up gigs in the capital, and around the country too! Follow him on Instagram to catch up with regular gig updates.

Keen to find hot new talent rather than regurgitate the same old same olds, lets hear it for this amazing artist, three years in and already blowing minds in his hometown... this is Indelacio!

INDALECIO is a DJ and producer who began his musical journey in 2022 at the EL CONDOR academy. His sets are notable for their versatile musical selection. Although his foundation is Progressive House, INDALECIO combines his sound with nuances of deep, melodic, techno and other electronic textures.

Currently INDALECIO is venturing into music production at the renowned Arjaus academy, where some of the scene's icons have all been trained. Throughout his short career, he has already shared the stage with prominent Mendoza artists such as B.I.R.DD, LYLY, Flor Parra, Just Feel, amongst others. 

He has already impressed with several important DJ sets too, at venues such as the iconic El Atico club, Han Producciones, and Birra House. 

Keep your ears to the ground, for this one is a name you will be hearing more of in the near future, let's goooo!

Paul Andrés, originally from Quito, Ecuador, moved to the US when he was 8 years old. His musical taste was shaped by his family's eclectic CD collection, ranging from Aphex Twin to Frank Zappa, Dr. Dre to Mozart. 

A pivotal moment came when he discovered Global Underground CDs at Tower Records NYC, inspired by a Danny Tenaglia set. Influences  like Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, John Digweed, Anthony Pappa, Luke Brancaccio and Jimmy Van M opened his mind to electronic music. 

After a few years immersed in clubbing, Paul started mixing in 1998 and after upgrading to CDJs he created “Mixing Things Up” a series of mixes which were named as a nod to John Digweed’s radio show on Kiss100 in the UK. 

After years as a bedroom DJ, just creating mixes for himself, Paul’s talent was recognised in late 2023 when he was invited to play live on MixPub Radio. Since then Argentina's Golden Wings Radio and the FB curated 21CPH have taken notice and he has supplied mixes for them.

From the United States to Spain via the UK, it is a testament to Paul’s passion for the scene that he finds himself where he is today. His desire to make an input on the scene with his energetic mixing and fine track selections... enjoy!

Hello everyone and welcome to the infamous Il Modo Progcast! Every week we take you around planet progressive, delivering first class DJ sets direct to your door. We do the searching so you don't have to, so come with us, let's see where we have landed today.

A quick trip over the Irish Sea finds us back in the UK, with an all female DJ Duo famed for their sets down on the South Coast . Regulars in all the scenes in all the right clubs, make some noise for Recalibration!!

Recalibration are Elizabeth Davies & Tor Lloyd, who have been DJing together on the South Coast of the UK for over 5 years. The pair have had guest slots at Berlin Brighton, Brighton Music Conference, UK Pride Events, festivals across the UK such as Voodoo, We are Love; & last year they also made their debut at an exclusive festival in Malaga, Spain. 

Together they have graced the airwaves of the south coast on radio stations such as 1BTN, Trickstar Radio and all the usual suspects in Brighton.  Most recently Recalibration have provided two exclusive mixes for Frisky.fm, Artist of the Week & the X-Chrome series with nearly 10,000 plays.

Recalibration's sound mixes Deep, Organic and Progressive house, intersected with Afro & world beats. Their mixes carry the intention to elevate people's frequency & consciousness through their bespoke hand-picked tracks. It is truly music played from the heart.

Hello everyone and welcome! You are in tune to our exclusive podcast, the weekly mission where Il Modo scours Planet Progressive in search of those hidden DJ mixes. Sit back and chill, let's see where our search takes us .... 

We are back in the mix with a crowd favourite this week, and it's an absolute pleasure to have her back. Her style and track selection make it an easy choice for DJ mixes, never failing to produce a set that rocks every time, please make some noise for Daria Fomina!

Daria Fomina was born near Moscow. She graduated from music school as a teenager in piano class and soon after she found her musical inspiration in electronic music. The people who shaped her musical taste in this new found passion were DJs and bands such as Robert Miles, Radiohead, Enigma, Massive Attack, Prodigy, André Tanneberger, Tiësto, Markus Schulz, Ferry Corsten, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, John Digweed, Sasha, Deep Dish, Pole Folder, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Sébastien Léger, Guy J and others. 

In the beginning of her career Daria played on several radio stations in different geographical locations and has since hosted several exclusive podcasts. At the moment, Daria is a resident of Frisky Radio (US), hosting a two-hour podcast where she invites unique, talented DJs and music producers on her show Oxygen,  and on DI.FM Progressive Channel (US), Subcode Radio (UK) and DNA Radio FM (AR) where she hosts her one-hour show Purple Sky. Daria has also played at Amsterdam Dance Events, Burning Man Project, Hungary and other dance venues in Moscow and Russian cities. 

On April 21, 2021, her first remix on  DROID9 was released, and it was quite successful. It got into the ratings of Release Promo's - Hype Chart Essentials Week 16 on Beatport, and also stayed in the top 100 Progressive House Releases for an extended period.
 
She was the curator of theLIA Series project, which Amber Long founded in December 2021. Daria was tasked with inviting female DJs and organising podcasts for female musical artists from all over the world to participate in the project, which involved over 30 women at its peak.

From April 2024 to the present, Daria has been a resident at the Moscow City Space Bar & Restaurant, which is located on the 34th floor in Swissotel Krasnye Holmy . You can enjoy a magnificent view of the center of Moscow and its attractions to the beautiful melodies of organic and progressive house, which she plays every week.

Daria also occasionally participates as a guest DJ on some online radio stations where she is often a guest in many projects of other musicians and DJs from all over the world.

Her sounds in her DJ mixes are filled with deep and melodic progressive house combined with melodic techno, tech house, deep house, organic house and adding different shades of electronic music.

Residing in London, UK, he has become one of the most sought after DJs in Europe playing at nightclubs and festivals across the continent.
