Dauwd - Unconscious

Little is known about this freaky duo whose sound straddles opposing polarities, merging organics and synthetics, joining traditional textures with futuristic finish. These are sample-licious tracks that also feature original vocals and raw analog synths. They are noisy but clean, rough but smooth, soft AND crunchy.  

On one hand, it's mad-cap multicultural disco funk as on Si Jambo (translated loosely as 'ALL GOOD') and 2Tac Onana, and on the other it's cybernetic weirdness and italo-inflected electro with 'Non-Binary Joys on the Venus Holodeck' and 'Czary Mary,' which sounds like it could be the flip-side to Sharivari.  

In between this binary divide is 'Something For the Mind,' a brilliant piece of pop music that springs lightly into your brain with catchy bleeps, incredible vocoder, and a beat guaranteed to get the braindance party started.

Dressed in the pitch black of Düsseldorf stands Wolf Müller, master of the tropical drums and se- ven time Salon Des Amateur breakdance champion. Repping Cologne and Berlin is Niklas Wandt, Germany’s funkiest drummer and a mixed musical artist as adept in experimental jazz as demen- ted Euro dance. Standing toe to toe in a no holds barred, no drum unstruck groove contest, these two titans will make you swing your pants like a Crash Bandicoot victory dance...so stretch out and step in to ‚Instrumentalmusik von der Mitte der World‘.
Taking to their task with the joyful abandon of two big kids getting creative with the Kindergar- ten music tray, Müller & Wandt marry dripping electronics, Froesean pads and rubber-limbed basslines with tribal polyrhythms, C2 claps and Indonesian shakers - and that‘s only on the A1. Speaking Minds & Amarcord make a welcome return to AEON with the Cosmic Friday EP, a moving five track release that features stunning remixes from scene heavyweights Fort Romeau and Moscoman.
“‘Cosmic Friday’ comes from the attempt to merge Krautrock influences with a blade runner-esque vibe while keeping the structure of a modern dance music record. ‘Drums & Oscillators’ instead is simply what the title recalls: a live session made with a Korg MS-20 recorded on a single take which remained unchanged. With the night drive mix the record has been turned into a slowly burning acidic tune for the darkest night drives.” Speaking Minds & Amarcord.
Cosmic Friday begins the EP powerfully, as a synth filled bassline rolls up and down before ethereal pads lead into rustling hi- hats. Fort Romeau’s Humanoid mix of the title track comes next, featuring distorted keys that pave the way for a moving piano chime, before Drums & Oscillators ratchets up the pace with subtle pulses and vibrating basslines. Moscoman’s Remix of Drums & Oscillators is another powerful dance number, as a chunky, wobbling rhythm is complemented by emotive violin calls, whilst the Night Drive Mix rounds off the EP with breakbeat-esque percussion and a penetrating acid solo.
Speaking Minds is a founding member of AEON alongside Alex Niggeman and Denis Horvat. Fellow Italian Amarcord is no stranger to the scene, having teamed up with Speaking Minds on the Mermaid’s Chant EP released on Canadian imprint My Favourite Robot Records. Esteemed record enthusiast Fort Romeau has produced standout releases for the likes of Running Back and Spectral Sound. Moscoman is the proprietor of respected imprint Disco Halal, and is a prolific producer and remixer, releasing on labels such as ESP Institute and Life and Death whilst similarly remixing the likes of Man Power and Bawrut.

@the-magic-movement completes 2019 with the "Sky, Horse and Catch" EP by label boss @noema himself. On his quest to "Bring the Jams", the world traveling DJ delivers two stunning tunes, streaked with percussions that he recorded on a trip to Sao Paulo. Last but not least, Noema's EP comes along with a mind-bending remix by our favorite Romanians Khidja.

The title track "Sky, Horse and Catch" translates a 90's Detroit House Groove to the present day and adds Cuica, Berimbau and several other Brazilian drums on top. Riding the complex groove, you encouter eccentric synths, mysterious soundscapes and of

Noema - Sky, Horse And Catch

On side-A, Nicola Cruz tracks Apnea and Marea blend dembow and soca rhythms with modular music, leaving space for these harmonics to create dance patterns. Both are a duality of ideas that have travelled across the oceans, from Africa to South America, and back, reinforcing the idea of accentuation in music, rather than the usual straight forward dance structure. These are songs that evoke a primitive feeling, crafted on a contemporary head.

On side-B, Pigmalião tracks B2 and Ocrânimo explore acid lines and syncopated rhythms for darker dance floor environments in distinct BPMs sealing a proper b-side storytelling for the release.

En 2021 se convierte en embajador de beatsdonor par la ayuda del cancer de medula infantil unificando la música electrónica y la ayuda a las listas de personas que se unen a formar parte de la donación de células madre ñ.

En su 10ª temporada de Groove Adiccits Radio Show realiza eventos en Granada, y en Madrid. (Eventos Satélite) con artistas de la talla de: RUBÉN KIELMANNSEGE el cual pasa 3 veces por Sonar Festival Barcelona. este músico lleva un "Live" y en set dj en Efecto Club con 2 fechas disintas, David Cano, (Cycle), en sesión dj, Makoki Funk y Marco Mora.
Con ello se quieren celebrar los 10 años de  "GROOVE ADDICTS RADIO SHOW" y llevar el sonido "Slow" a la gente.
Actualmente esta inmerso en la temporada nº 13 del radio show en la emisora de radio de Proyecto Espuma.

Es residente del exclusivo Hotel and Resort Ríu La Mola Formentera donde tras 7 años Realizan sesiones de 8 horas diarias durante 6 días a la semana,  6 meses al año, entre las cuales se encuentra "A 97 BPMS CENTIGRADOS"  que es la que da la identidad de la terraza.
Los estilos que se pueden encontrar son:
Funk, Disco, Nudisco, House, Chill, Organichouse, Microhouse, Afrohouse,  Electronic, Downtempo, y una noche temática donde se puede disfrutar de "COUNTRY FOLK ELECTRÓNICO".

Sin duda una vida dedicada íntegramente a la cultura de club, que enfoca un set con un enfoque distinto para la pista  de baile y que no dejará a nadie indiferente.
