Percussive breaks, subtle vocoders, and an uptempo groove give the piece an energy crafted for the dancefloor. A retro-futuristic gem that belongs on every nu-funk and electro-boogie playlist.
With "Echoes," Doctr delivers a delicate Italo disco ballad. The catchy, melodic, and luminous leads rise like memories that refuse to fade away. In the background, airy pads weave a sensitive, almost cinematic atmosphere. The refined and nuanced production plays on contrasts between danceable pulse and introspection. A track that touches both the heart and the body, standing at the crossroads of the club and pure emotion.

To close the release, “The Calling” is an irresistible groove set to ignite dancefloors. At the heart of the track, a powerful and hypnotic 30-second percussive break grabs attention before giving way to a perfectly crafted Italo disco melody. This contrast between raw rhythmic energy and melodic finesse makes the track an essential club anthem, embodying the perfect fusion of power and sonic elegance.

Our forever cousin Matteo Galetto follows with pure cocktail-by-the-beach energy, cruising down the Italian coast like an 80s millionaire with a boogie to match. Big energy, big views, no apologies.

O.P.S refuses to turn the lights on, delivering a hard and fast late-night stormer that feels like it’s 3am and you’ll never leave the club. Meanwhile, Sam In Space takes the torch and lifts it higher with a late-night anthem, fists in the air, lose yourself ringing again and again. It speaks louder than words ever could.

First-time family member Seth Booth brings us back to earth with blissful Balearic waves, a wavy cruise for the backseat dreamers. And finally, SEIUN closes the book with a large, in-charge French flick of house brilliance. A belter that sends the whole family reunion out in style.

Umatik, French DJ and producer, merges the power of Electroclash with the dark discipline of EBM, crafting an intense universe and an aesthetic deeply inspired by the 1980s — from Italo-disco to New Wave and rock. He notably appeared in collaboration with Back From The Wave on the Various “Buone Vacanze” released on the Bordello A Parigi label.
His latest EP on Space Factory evokes urban alienation, with a cold desire in the track “My True Crush”, and Punk-meets-EBM energy driven by his saturated vocals in “Dear Lonely Devil.” On “Cold Hard Cash”, the raw force of electronics is fully unleashed, without compromise.

Biography:

Ilya Santana is a name that echoes through the shimmering corridors of electronic music, particularly in the realms of space disco and cosmic funk. Born and raised in the Canary Islands, a place where the Atlantic meets the dust of Africa, Santana found himself drawn to the edges of sound early on—edges where melody could float, and rhythm didn’t have to march. He came up through the analog warmth of the ‘70s and the cold seduction of the ‘80s, and somehow fused both into his own kind of future nostalgia.

His career took root in the early 2000s, not through grand gestures but through consistency—a steady stream of releases that wound their way through labels like Balearic stalwarts Eskimo Recordings and Nang. Each track, a kind of ode to neon dreams and late-night drives, became a testament to Santana’s gift for atmosphere: his music doesn’t just play, it inhabits. There’s a cinematic quality to his work, like he’s scoring the movie of a life that’s never quite real but always feels familiar.

Ilya’s sound is less about chart-topping bravado and more about evocation. It lingers. It hums beneath the surface of memory. Through remix work, original compositions, and DJ sets that feel like journeys, Santana has shaped a career that’s both low-key and influential—an underground luminary lighting the way for those who understand that some of the best music doesn’t demand attention, it earns it.
