Monkeytown Records is a record label based in Berlin. Founded by Modeselektor in 2009, it has been a vital international hub for various styles of electronic music on and off the dance floor since the beginning. Still, Monkeytown is not your average ever expanding label on the hunt for the next big thing. We’re Going Deep is a new label run by an old head – Paul Wise aka Placid, born out of a lifelong affair with the many shades of deep electronic music and a thirst for collecting records since 1989.
