Thudoor is a Bucharest born dj/producer now living in Birmingham,  with a musical journey shaped by a wide range of influences, but having the soulful essence of Hip Hop, the improvisational freedom of Jazz, and the expressive depth of Blues at the core of his sound.

His distinctive basslines define his rhythmic creations, often infused with unique and bizarre sound motifs. His work has been featured on prestigious labels such as Tanapa Records, Microgarden Label, Nada Espacial, Interplanetar Label, Strange Stories Records, Zebra Records, Rhythmic Lab, Unclosed Music, Reface Records, Tzinah Records, Resonance and Between Dimensions. Each track tells a story, inviting listeners to explore a diverse world of sound.

A small town boy at heart, Benjamin was born and raised in Colorado, graduating from college in the small mountain town Durango, CO. With influences of everyone from Sasha to Prince, Whitney Houston to Dj Harvey his sound is best described with two words...lust and love. After making a name for himself behind the decks, playing alongside heavy hitters the world over, and working to throw and host absurd theme parties that were consistently sold out and ample amounts of strange…..he decided it was time to pursue the life of happiness for real, packed his bags, quit his career teaching, and moved out to San Francisco. Since then he’s shared the the bill with names like Damian Lazarus, Honey Dijon, Adam Ten, Sasha, Dj Tennis, James Zabiela, Pete Tong, Polish Ambassador and more. Plus, smashed the stages of Desert Hearts, Lightning In A Bottle, Sunset Campout, Northern Nights, Burning Man, and nearly every club in the city. He’s the man behind ‘You’re Welcome’ which is responsible for the luscious, and vibey The Garden Party, bringing in some old and new favorites from all across the world. His vision, taste, and drive have catapulted him to a consistent name stay in the SF underground.
