This is originally a protest song against bad management ...by serendipity the ideas developped in this song echoed with   a 80's cult song from Axel Bauer, a french artist i've been reverring from a long time, and whose father had been drumming for Django Reinhardt and doing other incredible things  ... feels like music  is a small wonderful world...

Ticking

He was not thinking ‘bout the future. He was not thinking ‘bout the past.  
He was just thinking ‘ bout where he was right then, and if there’s enough left to last.
It was a make or break situation. It was a do or die sorta time.
If his choices were clear, it’d  be easy, but he still has to pay for his crime. 
But the odds did not look good.

She was caught in a vicious circle. And it kept going ‘round and ‘round. 
And the stories she told didn’t add up, she kept sinking, but never did drown. 
It was not her decision, she knew that. It was his, and he felt all the weight.
And the closer it got to an ending, the more he tried to compensate. 
But the odds did not look good. They both did all that they could. 

And they both wondered if it was worth it. Was the love gonna pay the cost?
But the love was enough to keep going, no need to cut their loss. 
If it happens, it happens, they knew it; if the trap got set off, could they run?
