After a brief break, Forbidden Planet Radio is back with a mix by Novi Svijet (@user-593556010), a new Swiss label that recently launched with an excellent album by DJ Loser (@loser111)last fall. The mix itself listens like a soundtrack to a mid-century horror movie, think a slow walk through a desolate landscape or an abandoned dungeon. I.e. it sounds killer.

Jumping across the electronic spectrum, from EBM to trance and jungle to electro, the 15 track-release features original music from Oksa, The Aux, Marino and The Blank Panther.

All sales revenue will directly go to the Support Civil Disobedience Movement Strike Fund in Myanmar.

Where did you record this mix and what did you have in mind while recording it?
"I didn't prepare much at all, i put together a selection of tracks and recorded them spontaneously at home during a summer thunderstorm, which is also reflected a bit in the sound of the mix."

How would you describe your sound in general? 
"I would generally describe my sound as energetic, breaky and diverse."

What are you looking forward to the most this year?
"I'm looking forward to everything becoming more carefree again. And to the summer!"

B side - Daytrip - is a smooth little roller, nice and sci-fi, slightly mysterious. An endless up and down adventure of nostalgia that could be looped for hours.
