A story with disturbing atmospheres and aggressive elements. Rarest Flower follows an epic path with a constant arpeggio that will help you to keep in mind this masterpiece. Argentinian Abuks remix of "Eye Of The Beholder" is a more eclectic and modern version playing with different synth and effect domains. The also argentinians LMOE created their original version of Rarest Flower and fused it with elements of old drum machines and acid synthesizers having a clear influence of music from previous years. A complete work with different points of view that will please the most demanding ears.

The EP opens with ‘Tranqui Tronco’, a nifty roller driven by dense percussion. A repeated vocal motif appears as the intro guides the listener into the first breakdown. Upercent’s use of unusual sounds and effects demonstrate his unmistakable sonic fingerprint, as the cut increases in vibrancy. Another breakdown raises the temperature even higher and the track rolls out with the same contagious, driving rhythm.

‘Nuquelar’ follows, with a deep tribal rhythm oscillating at its core. As we dive head first into this cut, hefty drums and a range of urgent chimes and instrumental licks add depth. Warped vocals are also looped into the fold, creating a cacophony of odd sounds as Upercent carefully builds the tension with a huge breakdown. The energetic release brings us back down to Earth with the persistent rumble of booming drums taking the track to its conclusion.

The penultimate cut is ‘Tempesta’, another dark and dense composition. Upercent’s talent for keeping it simple yet engaging, and just that little bit different, is evident here from the very start. This cut’s dramatic narrative keeps you locked in, as the percussion especially plays out a captivating story. A moment of peaceful reflection is injected at the midpoint, before we’re immersed in sonic theatrics once more. Moody drums and solemn bass giving this one its gloomy atmosphere.

Finally, ‘Ruta’ closes the EP with its insistent energy. In typical Upercent style, this cut develops in a considered manner with layers of sound building steadily, cultivating a sinister atmosphere. The voice of a maniacal character enters the fray halfway through, accentuating the unsettling vibes. An ominous tone pervades throughout, leaving the listener fully immersed in the dark side as the EP comes to an end...

Melokind makes tracks that catch you with their harmony and won’t let you get away until her last tone is faded away. He's not what you'd call a "newcomer" but on the other side he right now has something totally new and fresh to show. His debut album “Sinus”.

Did he release single tracks in the past he now managed to create a full album that takes you through a whole story on the journey, told in individual episodes. Melokind is modern but not obligatorily trendy. With EDM, he did not care much and early has decided to go other ways in beat and sound. This album full of great swings of melodies that touch the listener in very varying ways makes that completely clear. And that's what defines Melokind the most: his stories made in sound touch you, carry away from the here and now and move your inside. Melokind likes the natural and the simple things. Therefore, he has simply kept out of the technique battle, that some of his producer colleagues fight and reduced the resources by which he has realized the album.

In his designs, nature plays an important role and in his approaches to produce he loves to use the sine wave. So it came out to eleven great and small tracks that tell of the life. They are melodic and emotional techno and below which there is also one or the other, that we will be listening and dance to - in the original or remixed.
