Renowned music label KD RAW, founded by celebrated DJs and producers Kaiserdisco, is on the verge of a groundbreaking milestone: on August 18, 2023, the label will celebrate its 100th release. For this special occasion, Kaiserdisco and their team have assembled an exceptional lineup of artists from their close circle, who will contribute their musical talents to commemorate this milestone. 

Among the talented artists participating in this significant release are Alessandro Grops, DJ Dextro, Drunken Kong, Frank Biazzi, Mark Broom & DJ Love, Polyvinyl aka Umek, The Southern, Uncertain, and, of course, Kaiserdisco themselves. Each of them is known for their unique artistic vision and distinctive contributions to the electronic music scene. 

Since its inception, KD RAW has made a name for itself by releasing high-quality music that pushes the boundaries of the techno genre. The label has managed to establish a strong presence in the international club culture and is considered one of the go-to destinations for fans and artists seeking innovative and powerful techno tracks. 

The 100th release from KD RAW will undoubtedly be a milestone for the label and its artists. Index Marcel Fengler unearths another Berlin-forged gem with a debut release for Somewhen. Following an impressive pair of EPs on his own Sana imprint, label boss Marcel Fengler was quick to invite the newcomer to the IMF family. Following a pair of head turning performances on line-ups alongside Fengler at his Berghain home, the time has come for IMF 05 to bring Somewhen’s talents to wider attention 

A-side cut ‘Dain’ is a stripped down techno trip engineered for dancefloors at dawn: a siren call to the club’s most battle hardened heads, its subtle machinations will prove deadly in the right DJ’s hands. Over on the B-side, ‘Aula’ is the EP’s more unpredictable beast, its rougher rave edges rounded off by a rich bass synth and enigmatic vox pads that give the track an unsettling air as it nears its conclusion. XJ closes the EP with an insistent slice of acid with Somewhen’s own playful modern twist.
