Based in Manchester for many years, Node currently resides in Japan from where he co-runs the brilliant Gated Recordings which aims to release top-notch electronic music with acid, electro, breakbeat and experimental undertones.

She has been developing the music & art project Mitamine Lab for almost 10 years —without expectations or pretension. She’s also a selector and vegan activist: „I love diversity and I really love different kinds of music and genres. I'm trying to educate myself by switching my mental thoughts from negative to positive. I’ve been pretty disconnected from the ‘Mexican scene’ but I still trust in my excellent taste and ears.“ So let‘s dive deep into the story told by Mim in this eclectic mix.

Paul Jones aka Jhim was mostly known in the music scene under his M.D.S moniker, as well as for it's Pants & Socks duo with our lovely friend Anorak.

On this new project we find him exploring the ambient side of his being. Illusions is a collection a four meditative, yet intense and complex compositions. Time signatures shift, soundscapes evolve and harmonies progress to take you on a cosmic journey.
The man being a mastering engineer, the production of this EP is nothing but crystal clear and deep.

This EP wasn’t made to impress — it was made to notice. To sit in stillness. To feel what lives beneath the surface. ‘Observer’ is a collection of live recordings shaped by attention, not control. No heavy edits. No overthinking. Just raw signal, unfolding in its own time.

Each track holds space: Minimal rhythm. Subtle pressure. Deep, evolving textures. There’s movement, but nothing forced. Emotion, but no explanation. I didn’t approach this as a performer — more as a listener. Letting the sound reveal itself. Letting silence shape the form. Sometimes the most honest music comes when you stop trying to shape it. When you simply watch — and allow.

For those who move quietly.
For those who feel more than they show.
For the deep listeners, the wanderers, the ones who never quite fit.
