2014 saw Steyoyoke Recordings put the finishing touches to their artist roster and the label is now experiencing an ongoing creative continuum, bringing Steyoyoke to its current state of musical solidarity. ‘Family Affair Vol.04’ is a testament to this, as it provokes new inspiring ways for the artists to inspire and influence each other. Split across two separate releases, Part 1 and Part 2, “Family Affair Vol.04’ comprises of 9 remixes, which sees all the Steyoyoke artists adding their own personal flavours to some of 2014’s biggest tracks.

Part 1.
Soul Button’s remix of ‘First Glimpse’ by Aki Bergen is the curtain raiser. Possessing a little more energy than the original, this remix boasts an alluring new intensity and vibe. It is captivating and uplifting.
Next up, is Aaryon’s remix of Soul Button & Talul’s ‘Chasing Thoughts’. Building upon the intricate layers already existing within the original, Aaryon intertwines edgier synth flurries and a more sinister bass line.
‘Hydra’ by Animal Picnic is remixed by Nick Devon, who chooses to focus on the originals unyielding drive. Nick really draws out the true ruthlessness of this track, with techno influences infiltrating this remix from start to finish.
Dahu takes on the remix of Aki Bergen’s ‘Helix’ and he customises it with some menacing elements. He does however maintain the originals “raw minimal techno groove” and garnishes this with industrial style accents.
The final track on Part 1 is Ran Salman’s version of ‘7th Heaven’ by Soul Button. Opting for a slightly punchier sound, Ran enlivens his remix by incorporating a few extra synth riffs and a bouncer bass line.

The OstromL feat. Aelina project invites the listener into a sonic world where modern European melodic house meets deep emotional storytelling. Aelina’s ethereal, crystalline female vocals blend seamlessly with OstromL’s cinematic, atmospheric production style, creating a timeless sound that feels both club-ready and soul-touching.

Warm analog basslines, pulsating sidechained pads, choir-like vocal layers and film-inspired melodic themes form the backbone of the record. The entire album carries the feeling of a late-night drive, a sunrise festival moment, and a deeply personal inner journey all at once. Aelina’s voice floats effortlessly through the space — sometimes delicate, sometimes powerful — always guiding the listener with emotional clarity.

Musically, the album moves between melodic progressive house, melodic techno, and indie dance, focusing on atmosphere, emotional build-ups, and cinematic groove. Pumping basslines, deep and hypnotic synths, full power into the new season. It is THe WHite SHadow bringing some techno beats after these hot summer days. The dark and cold atmosphere is growing second by second and the sounds get rugged. Suddenly you are wishing that the nights will get longer again to celebrate fizzy electronic sounds like this.

“Sunset“ and “Sunrise“ letting you feel the power of drums and kicks in a clean version. “Lost Soul“ is more melodic and decorated with soft synths. The shaker is breathless and it seems like THe WHite SHadow collected all pent up emotions in that song. We have “Last“ sounding really metallic and unique. A lot of elements fighting against each other to end up in a magic break.

On top Dutch producer Olivier Weiter serves us a straight and uncompromising remix which will rock the dancefloor with it’s simple and catchy atmosphere. Welcome back in the club, we’ll guide you through the new season.

Our musician collective called Indigo Theory consists of 3 members. The band was formed in 2014 March. We call our style soulful electronic music. It’s based on electronic instruments and sounds. The main ars poetica is the music with full of emotions, vibration and happiness. Our style comes from the club, concert and music production experiences we got in the past 15 years. Separately we have many internationally recognized producer works in jazz, blues, deep house, techno and chill genres. Our singer Kinga was living and singing jazz in Monte Carlo, Italy and had many jazz, blues and electronic concerts in the last 15 years. Indigo Theory gigs are always live with different variations of electronic music instruments. We have already played together with Lexer, David K, Tom B, Compact Grey, Alle Farben, Eelke Kleijn, KANT, Miguell Campbell, Martin Roth, Kovary and with the most of the Hungarian top DJs in the most exclusive clubs in Budapest. We also played at Sputnik Spring Break Festival in Germany as the only Hungarian band.
