Dauw—pronounced ‘Dao’—is the condensation of soul into sound. Like morning dew catching the first light of day, his music arrives steadily, yet speaks of deep undercurrents. Steeped in deep, worldly rhythms, the journey has always been one of essence over hype. Feeling over form.

His sets have pulsed through clubs, festivals, deserts, jungles, lakesides and intimate private events. But as the seasons turned, so did the call. What once moved crowds toward sunrise began pulling him inward—toward stillness, presence and ceremony. 

And so, Dao emerged. A name echoing eastern wisdom tradition—the path, the flow, the harmony beyond effort. With it he crafts ecstatic dance experiences where music becomes medicine and movement the release. These are rituals in spaces held with care, soul and deep intention. 

Drawing on one and a two decades of DJ alchemy, his sound blends grounded basslines with soaring emotional arcs, curated entirely anew for each gathering. Music for the body, the breath and the unseen.

This isn’t an act. It's a remembrance.

San Miguel’s musical signature is defined by his various interests and influences of his travels through time and space which manifests itself into a soundscape of hypnotic spheres and deep driven basses. Often combined with folkloric elements and a range of organic instruments, his sound weaves unique tales that carries the audience gently and straight into an ecstatic dance experience. He is a master for clashing the styles and shows a deep instinct for timing and suspense as he draws a bow throughout his mixes that will move any dance-floor that thrives on powerful global beats and psychedelic rhythms. That special composition led him release his own productions on labels such as Leveldva, Underyourskin Records, Lump, LNDKHN, Cosmic Awakenings, Serafin Audio Imprint and many more...

Together with LaniRose (@lanirose_monada), he launched his second electronic music label and sonic community „MŎNɅDɅ“ (@monada-project) in 2018, based by the philosophical monad as expression of the pure eternal essence which exists in every living being. Featuring talents from all over the earth, the label provides a playground for hand-picked and visionary sounds, expressing multicultural and contemporary beauty in modern simplicity. A space dedicated to emotional, deep, organic downtempo and progressive, melodic slowtech focusing on consistent deepness and defined by outstanding sound scripts and creativity.

As "Mônada Project" the two free spirits San Miguel and LaniRose are leading a rental & setup service with a variety of festival equipment like PA, tents, booths and unique light installations, hosting sound-journeys, gatherings and festivals & co-create together with the global tribe. All in the mission of LOVE. ♥
