SameSame deliver a transmission beamed from the liminal hours through their Audio Manipulation EP on Pyramid Fields. It’s a sound rich with detail - which you may have heard through their incredible surface on label, One Eye Witness. Rich in texture, while being propulsive club tracks, driven by low-tech, proggy basslines that anchor the trip. Be prepared for the forward motion, while being tripped-out through science fiction and fantastical understones. A must for the the ear.

10 years ago two of the worlds most prominent DJs were preparing for the Delta Heavy US arena tour, the likes of which this country had never seen before. Coming off the back of a successful residency at New York's super club Twilo, Sasha and Digweed were in prime position to take underground EDM to the US mass market and beyond. Fast forward to 2012 and some commentators see this era as a watershed moment in the US, showcasing this type of music to cities that had never experienced it before. 

This mix, broken up into two halves, takes you back to a time before Giuliani's "quality of life" campaign had taken the heart out of New York's club culture, only recently to be returned by today's current crop of energetic promotors. Mixed live, this mix hopefully takes you back and relives some happy memories……I know I had a lot of fun putting it together…..enjoy!
