Over the last sixteen years, DJ Phil has evolved from a protege and student of the late DJ Rashad to one of the most ambitious core members of Chicago's Teklife collective. 
In that time, the Chicago native has released several projects that expose a deeper melodic angle that tends to deviate from the traditional fast-paced nature of footwork. Apart from several independent releases, Phil has also released recordings through TAR, Moveltraxx, and Night Slugs, with a focus on fusing Chicago's rich history of house music with more modern juke/footwork.

EQ Why bridges the Chicago footwork scene and the experimental music underground with his raw, abstract tracks. While his tracks retain the fast, choppy tempos and aggressive, sometimes sexually explicit vocal samples typical of juke and footwork, he often incorporates jungle-influenced breakbeats and more offbeat samples. His work stylistically draws a line between footwork's Chicago home base and its stranger Japanese variation, as reflected by EQ Why's Chitokyo Mixtape from 2013. 

Originally going by the name DJ T-Why, Tyrone Smith was affiliated with Bosses of the Circle, a footwork collective (founded by DJ Roc in 2005) that later included artists such as Young Smoke and Jlin. All of these artists were featured on Planet Mu's Bangs & Works, Vol. 2 compilation in 2011, which included three selections by T-Why. He released a few mixtapes under this name before changing his moniker to EQ Why in 2012. Starting with that year's Equalized EP, he began releasing a staggering amount of music online. 

The 12" EP Enter the Why, Vol. 1: You Got It was released by Duck N' Cover Records in July of 2013. This was shortly followed by The Dynamic Time, a CD issued by the Japanese label Booty Tune, and Chitokyo Mixtape, an intense 60-tracks-in-60-minutes cassette released by the experimental label Orange Milk. EMC2, a split EP by EQ Why and DJ Elmoe, appeared digitally in late 2014. The full-length World Relief, featuring collaborations with DJ Roc, followed in 2015. Several digital albums, including Cold World and BattleGroundz, were released in 2017. 

EQ Why had another prolific year in 2018, as Orange Milk released WhyTrax (a collaboration with Traxman) and the experimental EP Spring Steeze (with Diamond Soul) was released by Bedlam Tapes, in addition to solo releases such as Back to the Block and Make the Feet Go Around.

Operon has been a pillar of the drum'n'bass community in Brisbane (Australia) for over 20 years. Alongside partner in crime DJ Erther, Operon was responsible for reviving a dead scene for this UK breakbeat sound in his home town. Lack of exposure to the genre compelled Operon to start his own parties which led on to the seminal Brisbane clubbing event Rude Bwoyz Monthly. 

Operons endeavours in nurturing the local scene have seen him perform alongside renowned dj's such as LTJ Bukem, Dj Marky, Alix Perez, S.P.Y and many more, as well as a feature mix and interview on major national radio station Triple J.

A keen producer, Operon has  a solid back catalogue of single and EP releases on top liquid and atmospheric labels including Fokuz, Scientific, Offworld, Interphase, Covert Operations, and has received airplay from some of the scenes most prolific Dj’s including, LTJ Bukem, London Elektricity, Fabio & Grooverider, Technimatic and Random Movement, to name a few.

I'm an Australian based beat maker and DJ. 

I have been lucky enough to have played in support for: The Naked and Famous, Kora,  House of Shem, Kids of 88, Scuba, Truth, Dirty South Joe, Electric Wire Hustle, Benny tones, Home brew,  The KJs, Kids in space, Cern, Low Budget, Major Taylor and many other musical masterminds.

Mirasia is a Melbourne (Naarm) based DJ/Producer and overall mother to one of the pioneering oceanic ballroom houses, Kiki House of Silky.

Inguerzon is a Chilean-born DJ and producer who currently resides in Brisbane, Australia. His love for Drum & Bass started at a young age, and he quickly developed a passion for mixing and producing music.
After honing his skills in the Chilean music scene, Inguerzon made the move to Australia to pursue his music career further. Since arriving in Brisbane, he has become a prominent figure in the local Drum & Bass community, playing at clubs and festivals across the city.
Inguerzon's DJ sets are known for their dynamic energy and expertly crafted mixes, showcasing his love for both the deep and soulful as well as the hard and heavy sounds of Drum & Bass. He has also released music on respected labels such as Caja de Ritmos, gaining support from some of the biggest names in the genre.
With his unwavering dedication to the music and his infectious energy on stage, DJ Inguerzon is quickly establishing himself as a force to be reckoned with in the Australian Drum & Bass scene.
