Character: NairoMK

Bio: Putting his money on the line, yet again, is the heart of the Smash community. However, this time Nairo is instead betting it all on himself. That’s how confident he is! This isn’t the first tournament he’s gone to and it certainly won’t be the last. Thanks to his new main and his long awaited return to streaming, he won’t rest until he finally gets that 100K dream! Where we at, chat, where we at?!

Okay, so this one needs some explaining. Nairo was originally going to be a part of the 'tournament' to begin with, but this was being developed right before the allegations and so I decided to replace him with Dabuz afterwards. Ultimately though, I didn't really care about doing much with Dabuz as a character, so he only ended up getting one track this whole time. Nairo was and still is my main dude and now that he's getting back into streaming and we're accepting him back into the community, I feel safe enough to finally add him back in. I missed this dude a whole lot, this stuff really ate at me back in July. But, I'm no longer afraid to give one of my inspirations the slot he deserves. So glad he's back.

Oh yeah. btw he's replacing Dabuz entirely

Character: Golden Alpaca

Bio: The not-so-wonderful world of YIIK is full of mysterious oddities and it doesn't get more mysterious or odd than the funny Golden Alpaca. With his hilarious lemonade joke, he's here to represent indie RPGS whether you want him to or not! For a dumb joke with no payoff, he's certainly no slouch when it comes to his tracks!

Character: Hinako Komori (Criminale!)

Bio: Komori’s extreme stalker tendencies have brought her to compete for the sake of Ichimura-kun! As almost certainly the most obscure pick of the whole tournament, her criminal activities give her an absolutely massive repertoire of music to balance her out. Referencing not only her own crimes, but also those committed by her fellow classmates, she won’t let anything stand in the way between her and Ichimur- I mean the crown. Obviously.

I suppose I should start with our final guest from the Zeta Protocol. She's... genuinely the most normal person we have here. No supernatural anything, no experience with a fucked up school, no status, no title, just... a girl who likes future funk. It's a new perspective, and one we may just need. She's been lovely around Second Heaven so far, very curious and very easy to work with. I look forward to seeing more of her around.

And then, the Protocol itself. That's it now. We've gotten everyone we need. Now we're planning to help them adjust, give them the time to put out their best stuff, but after that? Right to the competition. I'll admit, I'm a little nervous, especially after all that's gone on here lately. The Ion Division, everything with the subjects, the whole 2022 connection, it's all a blur.

But it's the last chance we have to save us. All I can do is hope for the best. Signing off for now.

Welcome to Second Heaven. Infectious is a mashup/arrangement tournament by Spark Records, inspired by projects such as King For Another Day and Mashup Week, with a heavy emphasis on a dark storyline. This project is best enjoyed on YouTube, but we will be uploading tracks here as well.
