Madben is one of the most rising value from the actual french scene. Discovered by Laurent Garnier and 4th in « revelation of the year» of the 2012's Trax Magazine awards, he have signed a lot of releases since 2 years on Missile Records, Astropolis Records, Logos Recordings and many more.

Yann Lean is a man from the shadow. More well known with the duo Yann & Tristan, he was highlighted with the track « Donde esta Pedo » in 2012. He's also the man behind the mixes & mastering of lot of tracks from Madben.

In 2013, Madben & Yann become neighbours in Paris... They decide to work their 1st project, called "Neighbours EP". 

Release date will be February 17th, 2014.

Darkroom Dubs return after a hiatus and welcome a debut appearance from a UK based producer who's recent run of releases have seen him become a firm favourite amongst the DJ elite. Renowned for his pulverising, often brutal, but always groove-laden beats, the Bristol based producer's music has become the choice for those who are looking to inject some serious techno funk into their sets.
Fresh of the back of his Ten Tigers smash for Oliver Huntemann's Ideal Audio imprint, dubspeeka looks to drop the tempo on his opener for Darkroom Dubs. Even as he delves deeper into his sound bank, our man from the west country still retains the rounded weighty bassline that we've come associate him with. Matched with the poetic echoing vocal and synth pulses Time shows us a different but welcome face of dubspeeka.
The other two originals on the package see him plumbing the depths again on Off Switch whilst on The Happy Man his adds some of his trademark beastly bite. Completing the package, label bosses Silicone Soul take on the title track and deliver a rework that befits the label name perfectly.

After the sensation caused by its last release, Life and Death comes back strong with another battle cry into the darkness. With a prized new member of the family, Vaal, joining forces with a Life and Death mainstay, Tale of Us, the stage is set for another epic EP from the forward thinking label.

On the A side Concor grabs the listener with its immediate sense of urgency and a beckoning, slightly exotic melody. As it slowly twists and turns, moving ever more insistently towards its peak it propels the listener to a distant exotic land, as a throbbing beat and cymbals accentuate and elevate the tension. Already a mainstay of the few DJs lucky enough to get their hands on it early, this is sure to be one that will lodge itself deeply into the collective unconscious as we make the long march thru winter and back to summer again.

Over on the B side comes Seahnak, an equally beautiful piece of music that manages to present its intricate melody without ever letting its energy dip. Gothic and yet regal at the same time, as the lead synth shoots out the gate, it takes us on a surprising journey as it pushes the limits of what we might expect from dance music while raising our expectations of it in the process.

Paving the way for the new era of DJs, Lexer’s ascension to deep house superstar has been rapid since turning his hand to production in 2012, with the likes of Bakermat, Oliver Schories, Klangkarussel, Alle Farben and Tom Novy all supporting the German’s signature sound. Joining the dots between Europe’s hottest cities, the promising trailblazer can reminisce back on a packed touring schedule with performances from Amsterdam to Zurich, Berlin to Paris - not to mention plenty of festivals appearances in between. 

Now with his impending release on Kittball, Lexer delivers yet another reason for industry leaders to take heed of his talents. Melodic breakdowns and a pensive hook are the reasoning behind the title of ‘Thoughtful’, a track that emits sunshine and solstice with every lasting note. The rumbling kick drums of ‘Rusty Heart’ make for a heavier number, whilst playful bass stabs, charming melodies and glorious strings make for a testament to Lexer’s rocketing talents as a producer.

First up on remix duties is Kittball favourite in.deed, whose rendition of ‘Rusty Heart’ introduces a fuzzy bass hook and sultry atmospherics to a positively upbeat cut. Pulling apart the original and reconstructing it into a completely different creature, Ron Flatter then ties up the release with a stripped back and understated renovation that saunters along amiably.

‘Fahrenheit 32’ marks a new direction for us both musically and creatively. It’s not just a milestone on a long journey of ours, but also a peace offering for what’s about to come. In 2014 we want to let the music and creative side of our work take the forefront of our image, which unfortunately means that you will be seeing a less personable version of us, especially in light of how much time we will spend in the studio. We chose this route because for the first time, in a long time, we found ourselves in one of the most creative periods of our career. Over the past months we have been writing music for ourselves and also for other artists, we remixed and re-edited our peers and DJ’ed some of the best shows throughout our 10 year career. So it seems fitting to let all of this have a face and image of its own, whilst our own faces are busy programming, sequencing and staring into computer screens.

Gomma releases a special CLUB VERSIONS EP from Moullinex' debut album FLORA. Most of the vocals have been skipped here. The tracks are longer and adjusted as DJ tools.

If you heard Moullinex debut album, released end of October 2012, you know that the music has strong dance elements, but is very song based. Nevertheless some tunes already became a favorite of many DJ's ("Darkest Night" even reached "Tune of the month" in MixMag/ UK). Like on the album, these tunes still have this unique, beautiful "beach" - vibe. Made near to the sea in Portugal with influences from Motown soul, Brasil Pop, DiscoFunk. Mixed with today’s electronic music. But while the album is more indie pop the club version have more house and disco appeal. Working very well on the dance floor as you are used by Moullinex' music.

One of the UK's most established and consistent deep house producers, Jimpster, is due to drop his eagerly anticipated Porchlight And Rockingchairs LP on 20th May 2013. His first studio album in six years sees him continue where he left off with the 2006 masterpiece Amour by taking the blueprint of House music and infusing it with an attention to detail and musicality often lacking in much of today's more disposable dance music.

Here we present you two of the LP’s more floor-friendly moments in the form of Rollergirl and Hold My Hand on a lovely warm 10” slab of vinyl. Both tracks show off Jimpster’s innate talent for dubbed out, late-night deep house but with a rawer, edgier sound than we’ve come to expect from him, and this can only be a good thing. Rollergirl goes heavier with rattling claps and distinct, hooky synth line which drives the track and brings an intensity heightened further by the growling sub bass. Hold My Hand has a lighter vibe with gentle vocals spinning around whilst the arrangement unfolds and builds perfectly throughout the track.
