I wrote this song in the mid eighties after some difficult times in my life. The song is still one of my best, people keep saying to me: why is this song not well-known and played all around? Well, I did try. My best. I even went to London and played it to a few music publishers there. They liked it. And of course in Stockholm. They liked it too. But, it is a tough business. It never got published. I wrote the music and the lyrics. I sang lead and harmonies and contributed with some arrangements. Thanks to talanted producer Allan Gutheim - here's to you: "Console Me".

Console Me

The Wound is about feeling hurt in this cruel world, and how we all share the pain when someone close is hurting. The song expresses hope and claims there is strength where there is weakness and light where it seems dark.

This Christmas was going to be a miserable Christmas. That is at least what I thought when I started to write this song. Everything went wrong. But, as it turned out, Christmas came anyway, as it always does.
