GFA aka Callum Rocks, 21 years old from Belfast and currently based in Manchester. After cutting his teeth at raves back home, has recently been received into the Northwests techno scene with open arms, playing alongside an array of commendable artists and most recently consolidating a residency with the infamous Tiribä party. 

GFA explores an array of sub-genres to consolidate the main objective of transcendence. Held together with the main stay of groove orientated techno, a mature track selection is balanced with party infused music that keeps the dance-floor in mind.

I enjoyed blending influences during the first hour while maintaining a dark and mental direction. It was a mind blowing experience judging by the audience's reaction; the atmosphere quickly heated up, leading to a climax during the second hour of the set while still staying within soft influences, in order to respect the values of a true warm-up set. For FrenzyPodcast #162 we've invited Gonzo MDF! The Spanish DJ, producer, and co-founder of Counterweight label, hails from Andalucia, born in the 80s, and now calls Munich his home. In 2016, he and Marco H started the "Counterweight" label and party series, a hit at Rote Sonne for seven years. Counterweight also became a record label, with releases from himself and multiple other respected artists. In 2023, he launched "Quimera" at Ronne Sonne, a techno-focused party series with established and local talent.

In the 162nd FrenzyPodcast, Gonzo showcased his skills with three turntables, using one for loops, creating an engaging mix from the get-go.
