I am happy to share with you Part One of the live recording of my all night long set at Warf Chambers in Leeds for Rogue Puppet on 07/04/2023.

The first two hours of this set was all vinyl focussing on tribal, funky and hardgroove records.

En esta sesión nos presenta un viaje en el tiempo que nos lleva por ritmos del pasado de los que nos siguen haciendo disfrutar en la pista de baile, seleccionando algún que otro clásico del puro hardgroove.

Allana Letm is DJ and producer from Goiânia, Brazil. She has been standing out in her region through her productions and dj sets that led her win some contests such as Shadow DJ Contest, Remix Contest by André Salata and Vinicius Honorio and the Noise Music label. She has already performed in some editions of Shadow, a party by the renowned Nin92wo and his productions have won support from renowned names such as Richie Hawtin, Alex Justino, Boris and others. Her musical research is focused on raw hypnotic techno, where she explores lines with hypnotic vocals, textures, noises, striking synths and dense atmospheres.

Lakej is one of the remarkable creators of the Swedish techno scene, constantly delivering the most exquisite electronic music productions.
"Out Of Context" is an absolute paragon, a story composed by 5 original tracks and 2 remixes from Michel Lauriola and Oliver Rosemann.

Shame and Guilt is the foundation, with an angelic pad making it's way through crackle and noise, generating a super dense atmosphere.

Re-Exposed can be defined as a mental trippy number, full of power and mystery, originated by the loopy bass and forceful use of impacts.

Tests of Loyalty is driven forward by a harsh kick drum, repetitive tom patterns, and a sharp pad building up tension. A haymaker to be thrown at any dance floor.

The Breach, full of rage and vigour, explores the most violent edge of pure rhythmic propulsion. Layers everywhere determine the top notch quality of this banger.

Cognitive Recall, a dance oriented cut, has a very effective and simple storytelling. Huge Bass drum and percussion dynamics are the main ingredients of this tune.

Michel Lauriola's interpretation of The Breach comes in heavy with an infectious stabbing main synth, that imposes as the principal element of this exquisite re work.

Oliver Rosemann's version of Cognitive Recall is aggressive and feral. High pitched pad creates confusion and agitation, the perfect ambiance to conclude this chronicle.

Heavy-hitter from Italy serving proper techno for us this week!

@stephankrus born in Zurich, but grown up in Italy. He took his first steps in the scene in the late 90s playing at a rave. First major achievement was in 2001 when he debuted with his first “Zool EP” vinyl on Underground Media Records by Mauro Picotto. That helped him to land at the legendary Italian techno club Matrix in Brescia, where he has been resident for five years.

Since 2005 Stephan has continued his musical growth by playing in many renowned techno clubs and festivals, shared stages with the best international artists. Since 2013, he has been resident at HYPER’s events in Italy.

As a producer Stephan Krus has released music on various established labels such as R3volution, Diffuse Reality, Naked Lunch, Decoy, Liberta and so on. Which gained support by the top DJ’s all around the world.

His DJ sets are a mix of old-school rhythmic, distorted and industrial rhythms, hypnotic synths, and power-full kicks: a journey towards unexplored galaxies with an ever-turned look towards the farthest past.

Jeff Mills’ “The Bells” is one of the most iconic tracks in techno history, often called the genre’s anthem. Known for its hypnotic bell melody, driving kick, and euphoric build, it became a staple in DJ sets worldwide. The track was first played live by Mills in 1995 (e.g., at Liquid Room in Tokyo), but it wasn’t officially released until 1997 as part of the Kat Moda EP on his Purpose Maker label. This EP is the original record pressing you’re asking about—no standalone “The Bells” single exists from that era. It has since been repressed multiple times due to massive demand (over 500,000 copies sold across versions).
