We're very happy to present you a new 12" record which is comin' from non other than
the mad talented producer duo Smalltowndubz from Austria. For the My Garden EP them
got some cool international dub artists, who joined forces to bring you this heavyweight
soundsystem smasher. The main tune My Garden comes in a hot dubwise style and
features Tenor Youthman on the microphone, who brings down some hot lyrics. Another
sure shot for any selection. On top we have a deep Remix from the man called Jah Schulz
and Tribuman plays the horns - you just have to feel this wonderful combination.
We continue the vibes on the B-Side with two original productions by Smalltowndubz, which
shows the variety of their musical style. Mad Thing is an UK inspired steppers killer, that you
have to listen on a big soundsystem. The other track is called Rooted and features our
family member Hazel Dub on melodica. This one is a deep and heavy bass bomb, which
enters your mind and instantly wants you to play that record on repeat.
For next level pressure, we hooked up again with LXC to do that heavy mastering on
all tunes.

This record is dedicated to all soundsystem lovers around the world, who missed that
feeling to dance in front of big speaker boxes.

'OLD WARDROBE’ mixtapes 

September 2006 was beautiful - the temperature was still high enough to open a window and autumn was still shimmering with all the colours of the rainbow when the idea popped into JSM's Rootskontrolla head to start recording periodically short 'mixtapes' with 10-20 of his favourite tunes at the time. 

We were getting ready to fire up the first version of our soundsystem, so in a room on the first floor of a block of flats on the southern outskirts of Warsaw, the conditions were perfect (hehe) to fire up the recording in the evening after work and rummage through the collection.

First listenings, testing Jah Tubbys new at the time 3way preamp, which arrived in hand luggage straight from north London, and selection that slowly crystallised the Roots Revival Soundsystem selection. After a couple of recordings and sharing them on local online discussion site, the topic developed to the point where other selectors and vinyl collectors started to post if they could record a short set. Over time, mixes from various friendly selectors arrived - and so the series called ‘Old Wardrobe.'

And so we present to you another series of mixes from the past, which will regularly appear on our channels! As well as Roots Revival flying into space soon, we also occasionally travel back in time and do a little digging here and there. More music!

I soccorsi dal vicino ospedale hanno impiegato quasi 30 minuti per percorrere poche centinaia di metri.
Questa è la sua storia, una delle tante storie di ordinario dolore dall'Italia del Sud, dove se non hai un santo in politica puoi anche morire di disoccupazione, abbandono, malasanità.

On the evening of April 15th 2014 in Benevento, Giuseppe Panzone passed away during a football match, struck down by a heart attack.
Rescuers from the nearby hospital took quite 30 minutes to walk just a few hundred meters.
Stories of ordinary pain from South Italy: (unless you are born with your silver spoon in your mouth) you can die of unemployment, neglect and medical malpractice.
Giuseppe, one of us, forever with us.
