VHQ – CONTROL THE DARK

This track opens like a late-night corridor of light and fog — soft, ethereal pads drifting overhead, tiny percussive flickers pulsing like distant neon. As the atmosphere thickens, a subtle TB-303 line slides in under the surface, wide open and hypnotic, slowly tightening the tension.

Then the floor drops: 138 BPM in D# minor, a heavy four-on-the-floor kick and distorted low-end hit, relentless, mechanical, and alive. Acid patterns coil and evolve, hats snap like sparks, and filter sweeps keep the groove moving forward like a machine breathing.

Turn it up and let it pull you in.
