This month's Innerflight broadcast features David Chapman of Seattle. We first heard a bit of his stuff recorded live for Habitat through Soundcloud and we were quickly hooked. This mix has a nice balance of depth and soul with an underlying edginess. In a world of homogeneous, stale sounding mixes, it's safe to say that the dude gets it.

David Chapman is a Seattle born DJ and producer with a passion for music that makes you move. Earning his stripes in the house party and club scene of Bellingham, WA, his sets weave between deep, funky, and psychedelic vibes, hitting all corners of the 4/4 spectrum. Inspired by the unique scene of the west-coast underground, he has now had the pleasure of sharing the stage with artists such as Donald Glaude, Riva Starr and Gene Farris at some of Seattle's most respected venues. With no end in sight, David continues to climb the ranks and do what he loves in the studio.

Korra The Kid is a Seattle-based DJ with 10+ years of DJ experience (but still gen z... wow!). She predominantly plays hybrid sets, mixing elements of club, 160 dnb, hip hop, breaks, footwork, jungle, hyperpop, grime, baile, ukg, and pop into her sets. Keeping percussion-heavy, underground electronic music cute is her goal, and she’s constantly expanding her genre range. The cuter.... the better. The weirder.... even better! 

 You might have seen Korra playing at Basscoast, The Showbox Market, Capitol Hill Block Party, APOG, Kremwerk, Monkey Loft, Cascadia, Summer Meltdown and more. A Washington festival and renegade must for over a decade bb!! She is also 1/2 of DJ Girlfriends with Mirin Doja and produces events with Bodytalk.
