Outside of his Chill Mountain imprint which he runs with Kabamix and Mt.chills, he’s released three LPs including a global debut with ‘SUNIZM’ on LA-based ESP Institute, as well as releases with Thomas von Party’s Multi Culti family and Taiwan-based and off-kilter dance label JIN (禁) for their ‘03 EP’. One of his most notable releases stemmed from his two month stay in Quito, Ecuador, where he found himself collaborating with local artists for a two-part EP release entitled ‘Metcha Quito’ (Volumes 1 and 2).

Ground’s existence on this planet is no different to his presence in the music — it’s momentous, ethereal and quite frankly just very special.

Here's what happened to be one of my favorites sets to date, small party in the bush with a close group of friends, a perfect opportunity to put to test all the countless nights we've had with @hosca sharing tunes and ideas. Oath presents itself as one of Istanbul's finest house labels, with only three releases in its catalogue; a bold statement backed up by approaching EPs and albums by renowned names such as John Beltran, Seb Wildblood, Moomin, Rick Wade, and Genius of Time. Oath's main focus is to extend its boundaries with sister labels, Benthic and LYAM, to evolve a deeper label where they find opportunities to straddle different sub-genres, and enable them to work with their favourite musicians.

This edition of our mix series features luminary Seattle local and longtime friend of the crew Shaun Whitcher (https://soundcloud.com/shaunwhitcher). We've wanted a mix from this skilled master of the late night vibes for some time and he delivers with this well crafted psychedelic mix that is a perfect fit for the wee hours after raving. Shaun has been a longtime fan of Wicked (like us at Innerflight) and we are happy to have him play along with a legend and ace of the craft, Jenö. Joining them on the decks will be Lucky Cheese and Kadeejah Streets. The shindig goes down at one of our favorite Seattle underground venues on Friday Jan 26th.
