I genuinely had this stuck in my head for about a week after I first heard you play it. Perfect.

Take Control

I became fed up with writing sad, soppy jazzy kinda songs and tried something totally out of my comfort zone. I didn't really have an idea or a sound in mind, I just began building the parts and then free-styled vocals until I fleshed out a full song with complete lyrics and instrumentation. 

It's a bit of an anthem to transitional periods in life, especially after big changes, and embracing the chaos in positive ways. It was also inspired by past lives and how for centuries we've been growing towards being free to live as our authentic selves without fear.
