We welcome the return of Moscow-based Russian DJ & artist Kammerton (real name Stepan Chernov), whose debut Avenue Red Podcast 030 was released 2,543 days ago on New Year's Eve of 2014. He is well-known in the underground circuit across the most populous regions of Russia and has played at many great clubs over there, especially those focussed on deeper house, techno and minimal stylings. He was resident of Moscow clubs Shanti and Propaganda, as well as radio stations Deepmix, MixCult and RTS.FM.

As an artist, he is also known as Estafet, Moogam and Hand Rolling. His latest works show an increasing embrace of the darkness, with his latest works - the A4 EP on Moscow label Compromat - being described by the man himself as "Meditative acid surrounded by dark industrial atmospheres. Monotonous bass line drowning in its own reflections. Music on the verge of sound design... It will appeal to fans of the post-apocalyptic Blade Runner mood". This new mix contains hints of these aesthetics and sentiments, but is a much more active, pulsating, truly heads-down affair delivered with a serious tone and narrow-eyed gaze.

As we head into our 11th podcast, we take a turn into a much more relaxed world. Before now we’ve offered you kaleidoscopic mixes, techno workouts, freaky house sessions and lots more besides, but here we ask you to cast your worries aside for three hours of absorbing ambient from Steffen Bennemann. Bennemann is a post-techno DJ, producer and label boss from Leipzig who co-founded the Holger label and who curates the Nachdigital festival. Often preferring to play long and extended sets that reach for kraut, IDM and plenty of celestial melodies, he is an expert in dark ambient, moody soundscapes and otherworldly recordings and in fact occasionally plays parties where people turn up with sleeping bags and lay down on the dance floor to relax. Steffen says many times people actually fall asleep and he plays to them for hours.

And that’s just what you get on his immersive two hour podcast, which starts with a dreamy monologue, frog sounds and harmonic bell notes. As the session unfolds, it transports listens into dark, ominous worlds, blissed out and heavenly places that could be from the afterlife and plenty more emotionally swollen pockets of atmospheric sound. Combining the organic with the synthetic, modern classical with balearic chords, it’s a veritable trip.

Being in the techno scene for 14 years, Adrian Gambin (@anxdanotherspacescsajha) is the founder and owner of Systolic records (@systolicrecords) which started off in 2016 focusing in anything between deep techno, ambient and dub. Spending a lot of time following artists and other labels, carefully listening to new releases, late in 2017 he started djing. Apart from owning a record label and djing, he also organized several events promoting in Malta, promoting new local talents and inviting over several international artists. The highlight in the music scene was in June 2019 when he organized an event in Haale, Germany just outside Berlin, with the help of Nuno Perreira and two Maltese artists, Giacinte and Spork played in this event. 

Thank you so much Adrian for this groovy dub techno mix full of wonderful tracks from @berg_audio that fit summer time perfectly.

After a decent corpuscular thrashing, the calibration of the control systems went in normal mode.
When the readings of the instrument were analysed, there was an enthusiastic voice on board: "Thermoregulation is normal, cap! Electromagnetic induction and differential change of the phase integral are calculated! Full speed ahead!"

After passing through the dense asteroid belt, the broken testers found that a kinetic teleport spat out their aircraft near the orbital station "Research Institute of Cybernetics", where an unscheduled study of the dynamic modulations and illumination of the moon was carried out using ultrasonic transducers.

With amazing ease, they ended up in the center of scientific research, in the middle of a landfill filled with splitting blasters and life-size holographic models. The mechanics of this action had an absolutely mesmerizing effect, making anyone who witnessed it freeze in amazement. The slow-motion fashion show of the prototypes reflected the metamorphoses of the growing (as they say among Earthlings), full and waning moon, reminding us of the grandiosity of the internal changes of each of us and of the magnetic integrity they possess.
