The release of Stiv Hey’s ‘Objects EP’ on SCI+TEC sees the young Italian achieve his next momentous musical milestone. Having released his first solo productions back in 2012, Stiv went on to feature his music on labels including Monique Musique, Harthouse and Black Swan Recordings and has seen his tracks win favour with the likes of Marco Carola, Richie Hawtin and Dubfire. 

The ‘Objects EP’ features a trio of tracks, each showcasing Stiv’s refined, dark grooves and accurate basslines. The sinister vocals of ‘Every Day, Every Night’ open the EP, backed by the atmospheric and hazy funk of ’Stoned To The Bone’. The beatless title track, ‘Objects’, is the perfect outro for the release and leads us into the regular SCI+TEC Tool collection. A must have for all DJs.

Bio:

Molly Modulator is the brainchild of the danish musician Petter S. He has his roots in classic music but found his love in drum machines and techno when he was sixteen and never looked back. Sometimes his soundscapes appear fragile with a melancholic twist of delays and reverbs - other times hard and cold but with small twists of warmth coming from the FM Dub Chords.

Ø Phase [ Token ] UK

UK Based Techno producer best known by his work on the Belgium based Token Records and who's style ranges from gritty minimal techno to Detroit influenced material. His debut “Module Overload” was released on London’s Lost/Cosmic records in 2000, and was followed by a string of productions for London's Surface/Inceptive Records and Ben Sims Ingoma imprint. The move to Token came in 2007, he shortly after began DJing professionally and has since performed at parties across the globe. His continued works have seen constant support throughout the techno world and have featured in CD mixes by Robert Hood, François Kevorkian and Dave Clarke amongst others…

Alongside his production work Phase is also a Mastering engineer and on/off artwork designer. Starting out at London’s prestigious Sony Music/Whitfield Street Studios, he has cut records for numerous underground dance acts as well as working on projects for mainstream artists.
