Hailing from the mountainous city of Zahlé, Lebanon, Marjaba was immersed in music from a young age. Inspired by the progressive trance era of 2002-2008, he developed a unique sound that marries progressive, deep, tech, and minimal house.

Marjaba's artistry lies in curating extended musical journeys, offering listeners emotionally resonant and invigorating experiences. His two mix series on SoundCloud — one seasonal with extended mixes, and the "Deeper Realms" series focusing on ambient music — showcase his versatile talent.

Now relocated to Montreal, Marjaba has made a significant impact on that city's music scene, delivering standout performances at notable venues such as StereoBar and Le Salon Daomé. His work pays tribute to his Lebanese roots while simultaneously resonating locally.

Mazayr’s connection to music dates back to his youth when he was a dedicated drummer. This rhythm-infused love naturally evolved into a passion for electronic music. It became a relentless quest to find his unique sound as a music producer. His distinctive styleearned him debuts on prestigious labels like The Purr, Flug Lab,Canopy Sounds, Musique De Lune, Nordic Voyage, Suprematic,Stellar Fountain and One Of A Kind.

Mazayr finished 2022 with a bang, landing a #1 Organic House
release on Beatport with the ‘Hypnose De La Lune’ EP. A debut
album, titled ‘My Canopy’, quickly followed, reaching number #2.
This momentum carried over into 2023 with a flurry of top 10 releases across Organic and Progressive House.

As a DJ, Mazayr has graced numerous stages including Destino
Pacha, the renowned Pangaea Festival and iconic Sankeys nightclub.

In 2019, he embarked on a new journey, hosting events and
launching a mix series under the Right Frequency banner.

Is relatively new to the industry, and he has been already doing some great works with his radio guest mixes globally.

It is characterized by capturing in each of its sessions a high content of rhythms that create a unique, pure and deep sound. His tastes combine to create a unique atmosphere through the emerging sounds of the underground. His style tends to oscillate between deep, progressive and organic house, always with a preference for groove.

His "Organic Sounds" sets are smaller sets (under 30 minutes) with intricate sounds from the organic house industry and is gaining popularity amongst others slowly.
