Classic Chandler in every sense, robust 4/4s thump under muffled shuffling hi-hats, a viscous bassline and soft airy chords, while Kerri's own supple vocals are surprisingly dulcet. 

With Delano Smith on the remix with some lovely deepness, this forgotten gem is about to be remembered.

Tony Lionni presents Straight Ahead Ep, his next soulful deep-house stomper on Goldmin Music

This guy shouldn't need any introduction for house music fellows as the british born artist has been one of the most creative deep-house producers of the last few years. 
Tony Lionni, Liverpool born but Manchester bred, enjoyed a prolific and near-faultless debut year as a producer in 2008 thanks to his uplifting take on house/tech house, Detroit techno and all things deep. With a raft of releases on labels such as Ostgut Ton, Figure, Mule, Versatile and Wave, Lionni couldn't have scripted it better himself.

This new "Straight Ahead" is a pure splendor 3 tracker deep-house ep. 
Our man succeeds where many fail, most likely because Tony is a syncere and passioned guy, more focused on the intrinsic quality of his music than his promo-business skills and this kind of devotion and sincerity means a lot to us. 
With this new record, he's combining that brightful early 90's house feeling with a more contemporary, massive and effective approach, delivering an hammering energy yet keeping the dreamy lushness that makes this kind of stuff so charmful.

And the name of this Ep suits well the music since it's exactly what these few cuts get to spread..
It actually goes straight ahead, making the listener focus on the main loop while a lot of things are happening beside, behind, under, subtly but surely, avoiding the monotony which many today's house productions suffer of.
That's what real deep house is all about and Tony proves his amazing savoir faire and personality again!

Yes.. that's not a very lyrical description but that says it all! Ain't it? We kept the long sentences for the other tracks!

Oasis keeps the same vibe but in an even brighter way, a sublime uplifting track which swings between so-called "nu-disco" and deep-house (in the true sense of the word). The beat starts and you feel like a flashback to the 80's but not that quite common, outdated, boring flashback, No! Actually more of a beautiful trip to the 80's as you're flying over this disco era but you're into a futuristic aircraft, you got it now?

Before night falls.. Bang! you've just been kicked out of the club and oh! you landed at Panorama Bar at 10AM. Even the walls are sweating, the atmosphere is tight, epic. The music that escapes out of the speakers is definitely having an effect on your mind, your body, ok let's add "soul".. almost hypnotizing you.. You hear that subtle contrast between that energy, that bass avoiding you to sit and that delightful mix of harmonies, melodies, vocals perfectly arranged that make you feel like right here, right now, there's absolutely no need to care about how to get back home, how to wake up and go to work, how to pay your bills, why the world's so wild..

October 3rd sees illustrious Italian DJ/producer Fabio Neural return to Carl Cox and Jon Rundell’s celebrated Intec imprint with his latest EP, ‘Black Widow’.

This excellent four-track offering follows on from his ‘Kora’ EP released earlier this year via Intec, as well as ‘Decliner’ and ‘Dillinger’ in 2015 and ‘Yoda’ in 2013.

The EP’s title named track, ‘Black Widow’, kicks off the release, seeing the fierce groover combine dark synths, tidy percussive elements and jittering drums to great effect.

‘Clorofilla’ follows, immediately breaking the silence with fierce, almost blown-out kicks, as gradually elements are introduced to the high-intensity groover. The intrinsic breakdown mid-way through the six-minute number is the track’s only let up, before once again regaining its momentum for the climatic finish.

‘Memories’ features atmospheric, looped vocals and synth chimes that are layered over the pounding four-to-the-floor rhythm. It’s a track that encapsulates the release’s tough yet considered style of Techno, perfect for the underground clubs of Europe and beyond. 

The closing track, ‘Stop The Rot’, similarly utilises the sinister palette of pad tones flaunted throughout the release, combining this with reverbed vocals and an underlying, shuddering bassline throughout its six-minute duration.

‘Black Widow’ is available exclusively via Beatport on October 3rd and everywhere else two weeks later.

Over the course of the past five years, Amsterdam based label Indigo Aera has evolved in to one of the most trustworthy and respected contemporary Detroit techno labels around.

In October 2016, @IndigoAera embarks on their biggest release to date: a limited edition 5 LP box-set. The Lost Archives Special consists of unreleased tracks from absolute legends, to music that has never been released in a physical form before, to fresh compositions of techno’s most talented contemporary artists. This is the premiere of 500 Models (demo mix) by Joris Voorn.

Aus Music follow up a string of new signings with the return of 2 of the long-standing staples - label owner Will Saul and long term affiliate Komon. The duo most recently collaborated on a 12” for Kompakt now together they ready the ‘Eve's Seven’ EP - a deep and dreamy 3-track EP that comes with a remix from recent signing Recloose.

Bloom sets arresting riffs circling through rich textures that thicken and thin to startling effect. ‘Eve’s Seven’ follows up with dusty drum samples and bold melodies before the Brooklyn native does what he does best in offering up a typically sunny take on Komon & Will Saul’s ‘Eve's Seven’. Sweeping filters and a short, driving bass line propel a highly energetic but playful rework primed for brimful dancefloors.

Celebrating 10 years of music, Steve Lawler’s imprint VIVa MUSiC assembles a legion of top quality artists for a three part release. Featured on this first part it’s Robsoul founder Phil Weeks with a jam titled ‘’ Come On Baby’’. The French Producer and DJ collides funky drums and an intoxicating female vocal, with the addition of a subtle jazz touch. 10 Years of VIVa MUSiC: Decadedance Part One

Premiere: Phil Weeks - Come On Baby [VIVa Music]

Intec is known to many a fan of House and Techno as a scene leading label set up by the iconic Carl Cox who has been at the forefront of DJ culture since the early 90’s.

With a roster of artists including the label boss himself plus Nicole Moudaber, Jon Rundell, Marco Bailey, Carlo Lio, Cristian Varela and Dosem amongst many others of a similar calibre.

Intec welcomes back Irish born Ian O'Donovan who has featured music on labels including Drumcode, Bedrock, Connaisseur, Tronic, KMS and Planet E. Making his second release on the label, Ian who is known for his inventive and individual production style presents four original tracks on this solo release.

First up is the tribal groove of “Seeker” which fuses fast flowing percussion with a rolling bass line to create in infectious groove. Already full of energy, the frantic lead synth helps create a sense of urgency that’s instantly captivating and perfect for the dancefloor. Peak time Techno at its best this track should also appeal to fans of House who are looking for something with a little extra bite.

The second track titled "Curium" is led by the pulsating bass line and busy clap rhythm that intertwine with the rattling congas and rising chords. Get ready to put your head down and punch the air with excitement, as this potent slice of Techno will have you out of your seat and dancing round the room.

Third on the release is the deep pads and pitched toms of “99” that despite being the most laid back track on the release still packs a punch. Simple in structure, it’s a fine example of less being more, and the dramatic melody which builds into a held chord adds an extra layer of tension. Master crafted with just a touch of chic, this is Techno at its most classy.

Finishing off the release title track called “Tomahawk”. Arguably saving the best till last, its muffled chords contrast gritty textures with the overlaying glide of the lead synth. Getting more complex as it develops, the tracks epic structure has a slightly cosmic vibe, soon brought back to earth by the hard hitting and heavy percussion, which combined can only be described as peak time Techno with an emotional edge.
