Some time ago I discovered 'Tilopa's Six Advices'. My own interpretation of this meditation practice is:
Let go of the past.
Don't anticipate what the future may be.
Don't imagine that you know what the 'present' is.
Don't try to analyse this that is.
Don't try to control what is happening.
Rest, in stillness.
