Korg Volca Keys demo sound

Shapeshifter sequenced by Intellijel Metropolis. OSC2 is in LFO mode so that delay times are long. Percussive mode is active.  Delay time, depth/FB and decay time of percussive envelope are manipulated.

Sequence starts in monophonic mode (ePiano wavteable).  CHORD mode is then turned on and then detuning is applied.  Wavetable is then manually swept.

Shapeshifter in CHORD mode using a granular wavetable with detune at 20. Wavetable is being morphed by a Dixie in LFO mode.

Preset Mode Active - morphing between panel settings and a preset.

Preset Mode Active - using Seq mode to step through 8 different presets in a forward direction. An Intellijel Dixie is used as the trigger source which starts out at audio rate and the frequency is swept down to a lower rate. Pitch of the sequence was manually swept.

About me:

So excited about this opportunity and I wish the best of luck to all entrants, my music career so far has been so excitng, having been DJing for 10 years now as a hobby I've only in the last year started to take it seriously, as well as starting to produce in the last few months as well my sound has been starting to gain traction and attention outside of my local area.

Korg has remade their classic 1978 design in a new model that claims to recreate the original's circuitry and sound. The two editors get to talk about what makes this special, and share some experiments in sound comparison.

Frankfurt Messe 2013: Waldorf Pulse 2 nearly finished prototype. Recorded in 48k, 24Bits from the output.
There are still some Bugs that need to be fixed, like the volume drop when rasing the Resonance. This will and others will corrected in the final product 

This is one of the loudest and most powerful analog sound I heard in a long time.
The demo was recorded with the volume half way up.

As played by Tatsuya Takahashi, from Korg's development group, creator of the volca series. Tatsuya improvised some sounds for us to show off what the upcoming, sub-$150 instruments from KORG can do. Recorded direct, dry from the instruments without modification.

Falling Leaves (Mono No Aware) is an electroacoustic/ambient composition completed over the winter of 2011-2012. It premiered at the Further Series Electroacoustic 2012 Concert in Vancouver. 

The piece begins with a crescendo of sound highlighted by two melodies looping out of sync with one another. A drifting sense of time slowing down is created as a sound collage of falling leaves is introduced. As the piece progresses, several high pitched tones slowly bleed through the mix, gradually enveloping everything, before it all fades away. 

The title “Falling Leaves (Mono No Aware)” refers to the Japanese term used to describe the awareness of impermanence, or the transience of things, and a gentle sadness at their passing.
