We’re extremely grateful to have Underspreche contribute their exclusive track ‘My Beloved' to our Spektrum 2 VA, set to be released on June 5 bit.ly/Tau016 Underspreche are the Italian duo of Simone Campanile, a seasoned DJ and music collector for over 20 years who studied music theory with a particular emphasis on African and Indian methods of composition, and Marika Della Torre, raised on a diet of classical and opera music who always possessed a deep love for singing, writing and poetry. Together they produce music that balances emotion and multiple world influences with a tougher edge dedicated to the dancefloor. Today the duo delivered their contribution to our TAU Cast series.

Neil Flynn has been a constant in the electronic music scene since 2014 when he released his ‘Louise EP’ on Lossless, a label run by Mathias Schober. Another EP on the label, ‘J.E.N.’, followed in 2016 and has been the most previous own track from Neil until now. Almost one year later it is time for the Irish and Guiness loving lad to contribute a new cut, ‘Shon’, to Lossless’ compilation ‘Outbound 2’ that is released on September 1st. Before its worldwide release Torture the Artist not only spoke to Neil about his upcoming music, but also the reasons why he is attracted to Lossless, his guitar skills and the painful day after writing a musical masterpiece.

Whether grafting away optimistic years in bands or taking hard-earned moments away from shift work, dedicating late nights and early mornings to his home studio, Davis’ sound has always persevered with a raw, emotional quality.

The past few years have seen Davis find deserved acclaim for a string of production and remixes that put those delicate songwriting and production skills centre stage, not only combining a timeless analog touch with a keen ear for the limitless possibilities of modern production, but a powerful sense of rhythm that will both define and transcend a contemporary dancefloor.
