Life on their planet had become increasingly dull, so much so they'd planned to escape and explore other corners and crevices of the vast expanse we call space. Perhaps elsewhere there'd be activities and experiences that would pull them out of their day-to-day slumps, maybe they'd even find a new place to call home - well, that would be a touch. It would be no easy ride though, their journey might not lead them anywhere, and in the worst case scenario they might never return...

After a mini hiatus, Geneva's Brainwaves crew are back with a bang. Following the electro and IDM creations from Weith, we're treated to a release from 'two alien sociopaths' AKA Brainwaves affiliate Estebahn and Renens-based producer Yolek. Together they are LMB and the fruits of their year long collaboration come in the form of 'Leck Meine Bahn'; a sludgy, chugging collection of cuts that teeter on the fringes of EBM, trance, bass and rave, layered over a foundation of jungle and breaks-driven drum patterns.

Every help counts! Moved by the pain of the recent earthquakes in Turkey and Syria, the rising London/Istanbul-based label and event series Khoinix decided to create a Various Artists compilation to raise awareness and funds for those affected by the tragedy. “Catastrophe”, whose proceeds will go towards helping people who were affected by this awful event, is a collection of 14 tracks from 15 artists: Black Light Smoke, Electrorites, Ethan Fawkes, Fauer, Hybral, Inglawt, LVCERATE, Mova, Notausgang, Omar Ayari, Skumring, The Hanged Man & Abby Knives (SXDNS299), Unrealnumbers, and WLDV delivered insightful contributions for this important release.

The theme we chose to premiere comes from the creative mind of Notausgang. With previous works published on Mosaique, Crave Tapes, Shaped, and Ombra International, the creative German-monikered French producer’s contribution to the VA is a punchy and devilish EBM-meets-Industrial cut packed with a menacing and unnerving attitude.

Raquitismo EP is the second reference in 12" and tenth of the label signed by the Vallisolean artist Alf.

"The theme of this EP revolves around the hyperactivity to which both the capitalist system and ourselves require us to live, thinking that this ultra productivity will make us feel happy and fulfilled at some point, how we isolate ourselves in our small strengths and see foreigners as viruses to be eliminated or expelled. "

The 5 original tracks of this EP have been designed with few tracks but consciously processed to create a forceful atmosphere ready for the dancefloor.

The technical part of this work is once again the work of Dan Böhler, who has mixed and mastered this album and has also given us a remix "house brand" to the title track of the EP. The visual work is in charge of Marcos Abella
